This 45-minute walking tour will offer you an overview of Irish history spanning 1000 years in the ancient Viking Triangle neighborhood. Led by an expert guide, you’ll visit six national monuments dating from 1190 to 1783.
Some of the sites along your route will include a Georgian palace, a cathedral, the imposing Viking tower with its preserved longboat outside and the Choristers' Hall and Mayor’s Wine Vault at the Waterford Museum of Treasures. Along the way, your guide will share brief history of the monuments and life in Ireland, from the earliest settlers to the Victorians.
