On this self-guided audio tour, you'll follow your audio guide as you move through the city, passing the John H Kennedy Park towards the Corrib riverbank. On your way, you'll hear interesting facts and stories about the history of the city.
You’ll learn where the word “lynched” originated from and discover the tribes of Galway. You’ll also pass the Saint Nicholas Church and its 1651 map of Galway.
You can follow the tour either on location or virtually at home using the 'Continuous Play' function on the app, which will disable the GPS playback.
