The castle itself is magnificent. Great Staff … all so friendly and helpful. Wedding Ceremony room was beautifully decorated. Excellent breakfast served with a smile 😊 Had a delicious meal in the library… definitely the most generous pizza I have come across. I could only get through half of it.
There is no lift so it was difficult bringing luggage up three flights of stairs.

It was fun staying in an authentic castle, it was preserved nicely. I wish we had taken time to walk the grounds and experience gardens and trails. We only stayed one night, and the accomodations were nice - but it was definately an "old" facility. The restaurant in the "dungeon" had a lot of character, the food was good but the service was awful.

The hiking trails around the castle were amazing, easy to complete (no steep hills, paths are large and comfortable). The animals live and animate the scenery. The room was great value for money.
The availability of food (good) at the bar was important since we arrived by taxi and didn't want to walk to the village to eat, although it's close by.
The water available to purchase could come in bigger sizes.

For a 25th anniversary gift to my wife, I took her to Ireland and we stayed here. She said it was like a fairy tale come true! When we walked into our suite she had tears in her eyes. You guys knocked it out of the park! WE WILL BE STAYING HERE AGAIN!!! The staff, the food, the history, the facilities, everything about this place was top notch. It was the highlight of our trip. Thank you for an amazing time!
The spaces in the hotel were extremely comfortable, the nature around was beautiful, the staff really nice and helpful. We enjoyed the food served at the Dungeon Bar, considering the standard prices in the country, it was more than reasonably priced. Breakfast was tasty, the breakfast room was elegant and overlooked the garden. We stayed in the Bernard suite and we were impressed by how spacious both the room and the bathroom were, the sight from the window was amazing.
There are easy hiking path starting from around the castle.
This is an absolutely gorgeous property. The castle is beautiful, the grounds are beautiful, the food was delicious, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We loved our stay here. There are beautiful walks all over the property and lots of old buildings and walls to look at. The energy is very relaxing and peaceful. We loved it. We definitely want to try to get back to this property and have a bit longer stay next time.
Fabulous accomodation. Beautiful setting with wonderful walks, cycle paths and fairy paths. A hikers dream. The castle is beautiful, warm and comfortable. Friendly and efficient staff. Wonderful food and a delicious breakfast. Thank you Des for your warm welcome and brilliant service. Sorry about the 5 in a row!!. Kinnitty Castle is a true hidden gem and we cannot wait for our next visit soon.
Unique experience, something different and alternative! Ideal for a group getaway (especially hen/stag parties) or just a small group get together! Quite and remote, with Kinnitty castle trail loops up the road! We loved every minute of our stay! The pub itself is ideal, on the doorstep of the townhouse/lodges! pizza and pints, just simple & delicious!
The room woz very nice wot I really loved woz d lovely big bath it woz just wot I needed have a ice warm bath n just lie there soaking n relaxing in a nice hot bath it woz so refreshing. The grounds n surrounding area r just amazing I would highly recommend this hotel.
Um, it’s a literal castle. You’re greeted by twin suits of armor and antique cannons upon arrival. There’s a bar in the DUNGEON as well as one in the library. The bartender Owen was amusing, adorable, and long-suffering when it came to American tourist nonsense.
Kinnitty Castle is very beautiful. From drive into the property all the way into reception. Staff were very helpful from reception to wait staff. Grounds well kept. Great location as close to many other things to see. Breakfast was very good with many choices.
We have stayed here before and loved it, and definitely will stay again, the castle is beautiful and takes you back in time, a really lovely property, would definitely recommend Kinnitty castle to anyone who hasn’t experienced it yet.
When you read the reviews and study website you come with high expectations which this place does not meet at all. Not at all nice place. We we left an found another hotel in 50 km distance.
Breakfast not great needs more variety Hall way in to Hotel is lovely. Receptionist was great very bubbly and very efficient. Rooms very nice I love the bath in the middle of the floor.
The castle is majestic, just enough upgrades to make it fully functional, but has that feeling of old world… So glad we chose to stay here. The staff and amenities were awesome!
