The continental breakfast of cereal, fresh fruit, toast, coffee, tea and juice was very good. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The location was wonderful. The room was large and had a view of the ocean. Sleep was peaceful as it was quiet. Cozy sitting room.

A wonderful experience of Achill Island was extraordinary by the shared native knowledge of Fiona. Her newly built home is perfect! The warm of the well decorated home is only exceeded by the openly welcoming hospitality of the hostess. The breakfast is most filling and the bay view and mountains view from the Graystone dining room is unforgettable. It is like a visit to your favorite Aunt’s home.

A great place with peace and great beaches. Not for a crazy party weekend, as there are limited number of places available. Still, It is a great island for nature and some good romantic times. Great sunsets . Beehive restaurant was my favorite. Keem and Keel beaches are gems.

Beautiful scenery, beaches, popular with cyclists. Friendly locals. Have only been to one village, other areas are more developed,, and popular tourist spots. The 450 bus service goes from Westport, to connect with train stops in the village, and goes through Achill Sound. There are taxis, but it may take a while to get one. We stayed for 2 nights but I wish we had longer.
We stayed for 2 nights but I wish we had longer. The beaches were gorgeous, we hired bikes and went touring one day, I did find the bike hire a little expensive but it was lovely to have the facility available close to our hotel. Keel and Keem are very busy at this time so we went to Dumh Eige and Doogart beaches instead. We ate lunch in Gielty's which was very tasty and there are lots of activities available on the island such as paddle-boarding, kayaking, walks etc.LouiseIreland

The breakfast was made to order as well as cereals, fruit, tea and coffee. We cycled out to Achill via the Greenway and had a shed to lock our bikes in. The B&B is very close to the bridge onto Achill and is close to a pub, hotel and shop. Highly recommended.
