We went to Inishbofin island for a set dance and trad weekend, It was a fabulous festival with lots of musicians and singers. Beautiful island with couple of looped walks and gorgeous beaches. Local people are very friendly and welcoming! Worth a visit definitely will be back soon!

Much less trafficked than the Aran islands, this is a peaceful island getaway with stunning scenic views all round. A small island if you like to walk you can see it all on foot. Hardly any cars so it really is off the beaten track. Locals are friendly and helpful. A real gem. The different looped walks are well signposted and bring you to the most scenic parts. Jaw dropping beautiful views of the Connemara coast. Good food in Days Beach Bar and the Dunmore Hotel.

    Amazing Island with wonderful scenery.

Amazing Island with wonderful scenery. Perfect place for walks and cycling. Beaches have white sand and crystal clear water. Recommend the cliff walk and walk out to east beach. Tranquil and so relaxing, if you can spend at least a week. There is always something to do and new places to explore.

The hotel was just a short walk from the pier but Andrew collected us from the ferry and dropped our bags back the day we were leaving. The hotel location was so nice and overlooked the sea. Perfect for exploring the island. It had a great little bar with amazing live music when we were there. Owners and Staff were very friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere. Very comfortable and clean room. Good food. Nice full irish in the morning! We had a really lovely stay and will definitely return.

Cathy is a great host and made us feel very welcome! Inishbofin is a beautiful island, and you can rent bikes very near to St Ellens. The room we stayed in was comfortable, clean, bright and spacious. Cathy very kindly gave us a spin to and from the ferry. Breakfast was lovely. Would definitely return!

First, Inishbofin is amazing. Second, the rooms were large as was the bathroom. The location was good. The best though was Pat. Pat is the host, owner & operator. He is very knowledgeable, attentive, nice, and most of all he is quite funny!

The rooms were clean and cozy, the staff friendly and the food was quite frankly the best I've had in Ireland in my 5 years of being here. Long story short, it's worth the visit. The views around the hotel are a sight to behold as well.
