We loved this place and will return. The staff were fantastic and made us so welcome. The views of the harbour and mountains just beautiful. Thank you so much.
Set on the peaceful and scenic island of Inishbofin, this hotel features rooms with stunning views. Guests can enjoy local seafood in the split-level restaurant and traditional Irish music in the bar....

Very friendly staff, and a nice bar near reception. It was very near the port (its a small island but still it's close) and the rooms had plenty of space.
On the site of the former Clifden Railway Station, Clifden Station House offers well-appointed bedrooms and self-catering apartments. There is a pool and Connemara National Park is a 15-minute drive.

Central Station House is a lovely hotel. Wonderful staff, so friendly and accommodating. Buffet breakfast is exceptional and they are happy to make something off menu. Perfect location to walk to town center, pubs and restaurants. Signal restaurant in hotel is also great with varied menu, good pints and live music. Great value.
Located in Clifden and with Alcock & Brown Memorial reachable within 3.2 miles, The Woodfield Hotel has express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a bar.

Breakfast both mornings of our 2 night stay was lovely. Full Irish well cooked, plenty of tea and toast/coffee and cereals etc. Servers were friendly and polite and service was prompt.
The hotel is excellently located in the town centre of Clifden and public car parking is available on the street outside and is free between 7pm and 9am.
Rooms are basic but shower pressure was good.
Featuring free WiFi and a sun terrace, Dolphin Hotel offers pet-friendly accommodations in Inishbofin, 30 mi from Westport. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site....

Love staying in the Dolphin Hotel. We got one of the downstairs rooms this time and they are very spacious. Breakfast was big and hearty. Pat was very helpful as usual with information and lifts to and from the ferry. We will be back again.
In a quiet corner of Clifden, this quiet haven of rich comfort and classic Irish hospitality is just 93 steps from the vibrant buzz of the center of Clifden.

Great location, very well ran and so friendly and accommodating
Very small location, but very picturesque. Ideally located to explore the surrounding area, including Clifden and Connemara National Park. Due to size of location only a small amount of local amenities but still very good quality.

The beauty and wilderness of Connemara is unsurpassed in all of our travels. Really allowed us to discover what Connaught had to offer. Was not lacking in any way, from coast to lowland and to mountains. Will never be forgotten!!

Lovely town by the sea.
Lovely town by the sea. Beaches nearby and ferry options to Inishbofin. A few pubs to choose from and Oliver's a nice restaurant with seafood and other options. Food was lovely and staff were great. There is also a grocery shop beside it. Close to other attractions like Kylemore Abbey and Killary Fjord. Beautiful landscapes all around.

Cleggan is a nice fishing village but there is not a lot to do there, due to Covid I think one of the bars is not open and another is only open during the day we traveled into Clifden for better choice of restaurants

Very scenic and quaint. Good access to other areas of interest around connemara. Great for getting to inis bofin. Bus service to galway and clifden.very friendly people. Lovely seafood. Best Guinness ever in olivers seafood restaurant.
Lovely location - close to everything and in a beautiful part of the world! Lots of wonderful sights & beaches around.
The apartment was 1st class, you could tell it was a new build - much better than staying in a 5 star hotel. Apartment was well equipped with pots, pans, a french press, cutlery etc.
Tina & Liam were great. They provided tea/coffee, milk and even some scones .The scones were so delicious, we asked for more! The scones were definitely worth the money :)
Would 100% stay again.
My room was warm, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The en-suite was clean with a good shower. Breakfast was great - lots of food and the Irish breakfast was perfectly cooked. Dinner in the pub was delicious. I had the fish pie. Everybody who works at Oliver's is warm and friendly and provides great service.
Oliver's is not a four star hotel but it is extremely good value for money. I would be delighted to stay there again.
We had quite a few full Irish breakfasts while in Ireland, but the one at Cnoc Breac was hands down the best! Our host was friendly and welcoming, our room was roomier than most of other places we stayed, and the location was close enough to walk into town for dinner or to a nearby beach. Everything about our stay here was wonderful and we'd definitely stay here again if we make another trip to Ireland.
An absolute pleasure to stay here.
Perfect location and stunning view from the bedroom. Cosy room, good welcome, great seafood dinner, super friendly staff, especially our lovely young waitress. Nice atmosphere in the traditional bar. They were offloading lobsters at the pier (outside the back door of the hotel) on Saturday morning! We loved Cleggan and Oliver's, and we'll be back for sure.
The place is ideally situated in Cleggan, a few minutes away from the port, where you can take the ferry to innishbofin and next to the beach. Eileen was an amazing host, always making sure we were comfortable. She prepared a delicious breakfast for us every morning and the house was very comfortable and clean, with an amazing view on the sea. Would definitely come back!
Lovely location overlooking the harbour and ferry to Inishbofin. Welcoming hosts with nice en suite room and good breakfast. Close to Clifden - 15 minute drive but much quieter and away from the crowds. Great seafood at Oliver’s Seafood bar just 5 minutes from the B&B.
The spectacular Sky Road scenic drive is nearby as is Kylemore Abbey - a must see castle and gardens.
Breakfast was lovely - delish salmon & eggs! Location ideal, as I was looking to get the ferry to Inishbofin the next morning. Staff was so helpful, warm and welcoming - had dinner the night I got in...just wonderful. I've eaten at Oliver's during earlier visits to Ireland, but not stayed B&B before - would highly recommend, and will do so again myself.
Top quality accommodation , great base for exploring Connemara , very close to Cleggan which has excellent places to eat and drink , Oliver's in particular is a must with superb seafood , we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and would return without hesitation , highly recommended.
We loved the view from the bedroom window of Cleggan Harbour and the island. The double adjoining room was spacious and lovely. The breakfast was excellent and the host was so lovely. We could have stayed for much longer. Thank you so much
Eileen might be the kindest person we met in Ireland. She was very flexible, friendly and super helpful all the time. The location is in a beautiful area by the sea super close to principal attractions in the area. We would repeat for sure
View and proximity to Cleggan & Inisbofin, Diamond Hill, Ballyconneely and Clifden. You can walk to Cleggan. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and friendly. We felt very welcome. The apt was warm and comfortable with large shower.
The location of the cottages is beautiful, quite remote but just a short cycle/ drive from Cleggan. Staying on a farm was great for the kids - feeding the horses on the walk to the beach, just being away from it all.
Perfect place to sleep and have a place to relax near the fjords of the ocean, great location and great staff, awesome breakfast at a really good price, good food.
