Kenmare is a charming, small Irish town. We loved walking through the streets with many shops, pubs and restaurants. Both Holy Cross and St. Patrick's churches are worth a visit.
Kenmare is a perfect base for driving the Ring of Kerry and visiting Killarney National Park.
We had a fabulous dinner at The Coachman's pub, sitting outside on a pleasant October evening but there are many other dining options too.

Kenmare was a wonderful stop on our journey.
Kenmare was a wonderful stop on our journey. The food and drinks were great but the people even better. Could have stayed a lifetime.
We stopped at Crowley's, saw O'Donnabhain's, booked and checked in. Dinner there and back to Crowleys before some live music at O'Donnabhain's and off to bed. The full Irish breakfast was amazing as well as the selection of yogurts, fresh fruits, cereals, juices. Could have stayed forever.
We were in Ireland for 20 days so we wanted a variety of experiences. We chose this location because it gave us a chance to be alone for a while. No hotels, or B&Bs. It was a great place to recharge the batteries. Nearby places in Kenmare to buy food so it was easy making meals. Very quiet and peaceful location. Outstanding views. There is a golf course close by, but don't recall if it's open to non-members. Just off the Ring of Kerry with easy access to the ring.
The Park Hotel is a fantastic retreat for a short getaway with delicious food, a relaxing spa, piano lounge, golf, and beautiful walks around the grounds of this historic hotel.
A special mention for the staff who were courteous and friendly but never overwhelming. Free tea and carrot cake in the afternoon, exactly the tonic after a long walk.
We also had a free electric charge point at our disposal, so the little things really do help!
The Laburnum B&B in the charming town of Kenmare was perfect for our needs. The breakfast food was excellent. Our rooms were very clean and well stocked with towels, tea & coffee. We would have liked to stay for a month. Our hosts were very gracious and accommodating. The town of Kenmare is an easy 10 minute walk. We would give this B&B a 5 star rating
Breakfast was hot, choices were given plus a cold buffet. Rooms very clean, good space, beds very comfy. A short walk to central Kenmare through a delightful path across the street. Restaurant, bar on premise. Staff attentive and very friendly. We came back a second time on our 3 weeks in Ireland. Would return and recommend to all.
My fiancé and I had a lovely two night stay at this property in Kenmare. The location was perfect just a very short drive to Kenmare town. The property is really lovely and very stylish. Emmet and Grace were very helpful and made everything very easy for us. Will definitely recommend and hope to come back again one day.
The house was very easy to find with plenty of parking outside. The property was very comfortable and the comms from the hosts were first class. It’s only a ten minute walk into Kenmare town centre and there’s a good sized shop at the petrol station 5 minutes away.
We would definitely stay at this property again.
Everything! Wish we could have stayed longer! Such a beautiful place and Julia was a great hostess! The best shower and bathroom and the sound of the river flowing out the back was so soothing. I would recommend this B&B to anyone who visits the delightful town of Kenmare.
the location was excellent. Kenmare is a lovely town close to Killarney National Park but much less crowded than Killarney. The rooms were so thoughtfully designed & comfortable-hygge! eat as many meals as possible in the restaurant!
Beautiful setting, quite and well kept clean house that was a pleasant and short walk from town centre. Delightful host, who was very helpful with good travel suggestions. Very tasty breakfast with great homemade brown bread.
great location - so convenient for walking to town and enjoying everything Kenmare has to offer. Beautiful house with comfortable beds. Super clean and spacious. Appreciated having easy parking.
Room and decor was vintage lovely and location very central to Kenmare Town Centre. The guest house had a lovely warmth about it and reminded me a bit of Fawlty Towers without Basil.
Right in the centre of town, so location is perfect. Room was very clean and at the back of the premises. We were lucky and got an on street park right outside the hotel.
Beautiful new apartment in the middle of Kenmare, very quiet at night.. spacious and clean with kitchenette for the morning tea/coffee..would highly recommend.
Beautiful cabin with a amazing views of the Kerry countryside. Felt very remote yet was only a short 5 minute drive into Kenmare town, brilliant location.
