This was a cozy and welcome getaway, ideally located near the coast and full Belmullet peninsula. The host was so friendly and helped with anything that came up. Seeing the ducks, pigs, and chickens on the property was a pleasure. The view from the living area is fantastic and plays like an everchanging painting throughout the day. The living space with the furnace was relaxing for the evenings as well.

The communications and directions were super ahead of arrival. The owner is a very trusting person and provided a direct number for contcat if there were questions or issue. Super throughout the process and very understanding of an accidental breakage in the property during our stay. The home is so so beautifully decorated - the owner have done an outstanding job on the renovation. I would highly recommend this property. The place was spotless and prepared exceptionally well ahead of our stay

We loved the scenery, Shore Rd cliff walk, and the tidal pool, Large Aldi and Euro stores, lovely little cosy pubs, and of course ,The Talbot Hotel is fab to eat in 😍 There are Hairdressers, Barbers, Beauticians, Takeaways and carry out, A Nice circular walk around town possible and good parking. People are friendly, kind, can't help you enough, eager to give good advice but going there in early Spring means there's very little entertainment, maybe one day a week, usually Thurs. Weather is quite cold and blustery, on the extreme west coast of Ireland and everyone is waiting for season to start after Easter to Sept .Many can speak Irish fluently but don't..Alot of fab Holiday Homes which are unoccupied for at least half to two thirds of the year ..would like to return when it's warmer n.more visitors around.

This is an exceptional property with all mod cons in the centre of the town with easy parking. It was spotlessly clean, and the beds and duvets were super comfy. I would highly recommend it.
The only downside was the lack of a coffee maker, but the rest of the facilities more than made up for this.

Its the main town at the neck of the Mullet peninsula, with stunning walks and drives around Broad Haven and Blacksod Bay nearby. The town has good eating and drinking options, with several traditional Irish pubs. The Talbot is good for seafood. McDonnells, O'Ds and the Western Strands serve good Guinness.

Walking distance to all activities, sea views, fabulous food, friendly helpful locals, lovely pup Mcdonald which had live music, landlord and staff very friendly, provided a bottle of champagne for the birthday girl,
Loved the calm and serene atmosphere in Kilcommon Lodge. The beautiful, rich colours of the interior reflect the colours of the natural surrounds.
In an age where one hotel room is pretty much the same as another, Kilcommon Lodge really stands out. The colour scheme varies in each room and the views over Pollathomas are very inspiring.
Betty is a very sweet and kind hostess and everything she has built up in the hostel over the years has obviously been a labour of love.

West House is a big family house on the Belmullet peninsula. It is inland. It stands by itself in an old farm yard. The land here is so narrow that you are quickly at the sea and Belmullet. There are two huge fires which were lit when we arrived. A welcome pack of food was there for us.
The hosts were accessible and friendly. They sorted out any problems quickly. It is extremely good value for money.
Breakfast buffet was included. Buffet included scrambled or fried eggs, coffee, tea, bacon, sausage, and pastries. We had both dinner and lunch in the restaurant. The food and service was very good. What made our stay exceptional was the staff. dining, maid service and front desk were all extremely helpful and friendly. In fact, if we were to return to Ireland, we would extend our stay at the hotel.
Lovely modern spacious house with everything we needed and more. Comfortable beds, plenty wardrobe and storage space. Jacuzzi bath and massaging shower in the main bedroom ensuite. Good correspondence from the owner. Short driving distance from shop and pub and not too far by car from Belmullet. Would highly recommend and would definitely book again. Thanks Liam and Caroline for a lovely sray
The staff members were super. Both Kathleen and Rachel were both very friendly and very helpful. They were very patient with us. We had a lot of questions. Rachel also brought us treats from the downstairs bakery. You can't beat the location in the heart of Belmullet . It is very close to restaurants, bars (especially McDonnell's), grocery stores and Sacred Heart Church (for Sunday mass).
Very comfortable room, lovely staff at the front desk and in the breakfast room...decor a bit over the top but fun, street parking that was pretty easy to find, walkable to grocery, pubs, pharmacy. Restaurant attached/next door has great food with a good bar. Very accommodating of gluten free food. Great location to see all of Mullet. We stayed 2 nights and drove every road!
Belmullet is a lively and scenic town with lots of amenities and an excellent place to visit for ling or short stays. The Lodge is ideally located in the town centre and within 5 minutes walk of all shops , bars , restaurants, bank and harbour. Its kept in extremely good condition and is very comfortable & cosy... all the family liked it.
Perfect location for visiting Belmullet and surrounding area and very close to the beautiful Carne Golf Club.
House had everything we needed and was warm and comfortable and very clean. Hostess was very quick to respond from booking to check out. I would highly recommend this property and would certainly like to return.
Perfect for our Lavelle reunion at the Turas Siar Center, our ride out to the Inishkea Islands, golf at the famous Carne golf course ,day trip to Achill Island where the views from the top will knock your socks off, and the friendly pubs seeming the best tasting Guinness you have ever enjoyed.
Host Dominic was very friendly and helpful for local infos. Location is amazing, close to Belderra and many other beaches, Cross lake etc... Belmullet is not far neither with supermarket. Excellent location to discover Belmullet peninsula. House is very cosy and confy.
We loved everything about the apartment, it was very central to pubs & places to eat. People were so friendly & welcoming. Belmullet & its surrounds were unreal. Finally, don't forget to pay a visit to McDonnells pub across the road, you will not regret it!
The apartment is just a short walk from anywhere in Belmullet - and right across the street from McDonnell's. Easy access to the Mullet peninsula to the South or various cliff walks to the North. Great view overlooking the harbour.
Beautifully remodeled lodge in the heart of town. Facilities include a shared kitchen and living room and even have a washer dryer! Staff were very responsive when I had a question about checkout. Would definitely recommend!
lovely home on a largely Irish/English speaking part of the western coast with fantastic day trip options. too many choices of things to do! east drive from Galway and could have stayed a week and not run out of things to do!
Beautiful setting down a little lane with the water at the foot of the garden.
Wonderfully remote with so many gorgeous beaches just around the corner. Facilities all 5 minutes away including bars, hotels and takeaways.
Great host very clean apartment and comfortable. Fantastic location to shops Pubs and Restaurants within a 5 minute walk and close to a grocery store.
Bed was extremely comfy bed, fireplace, kitchen.
Lovely apartment, all conveniences, walking distance to everything in town, easy drives to local sites, easy parking down by docks. Landlords communicate well. We had a lovely weekend.
