Close to Tallaght (15min by car) which has transport to Dublin city, and a bus at the bottom of the drive if carless.
Plenty of sightseeing with Glendalough and the Sally Gap a short drive and many gardens and walks nearby.
Irish country but so close to the city, the best of both worlds.
The best quality stay we've had this summer compared to all the B&Bs and Hotels. Beautiful first floor room in the farmhouse, gorgeous surrounds with an amazing view of the lake and mountains beyond. Bedroom, kitchen and lounge were very well fitted, better than many 5 star hotels I've stayed in whilst still being very comfortable. Room had a fridge which is the first time we've that in hotels or B&B and is something we needed. Only stayed one night but really would loved to have stayed longer.
This hotel has a lovely feel about with a great view out on to the golf course and Blessington lake. Above the reception is a lovely tranquil area to read a book or just chill out. The room was spotlessly cleaned and has a warm sense to it.
The receptionist was so accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us, Mick in the bar was so accommodating and professional and went beyond what he should have done to help us out. We had dinner and wine and it couldn’t be faulted
Lovely host who told us all about her organically-minded property (only one of 300 such farmlands in Ireland follow such a strict protocol), guided us to fabulous walks down to the lake, provided us with an upgrade because we were the only visitors mid-week and spoiled us with a absolutely fantastic breakfast. The property is beautiful especially for taking walks down to the lakes.
Great place to stay. We used it as an overnight on our way to Cork from Dublin and even though we arrived at midnight, it was easy to find and check in (lockbox keys). All details had been communicated extensively in advance with the team ready to answer any and all questions. There's also a hotel on-site, so if you're really in need of help you have someone to turn to.
This booking is absolutely stunning. Out of all the places I’ve stayed in my 5 trips to Ireland, this view might be the very best. Breathtaking! Farm animals, a loop walk to the lake, the Wicklow Mountains…really incredible. The host was lovely and attentive, the house gorgeous, an original Irish cottage completely refurbished so elegantly.
The location is fantastic with magnificent views overlooking the Blessington Lakes. There is a beautiful walk over the farm fields down to the lake. Niamh and her husband are a delightful warm welcoming couple. The lemon cake at tea was superb and breakfast was delicious!
Excellent hotel, I have stayed in hotels on the Continent and in the US but I think this one is one of the best if not the best. Don't expect convenient public transport, this hotel is in a beautiful location in rural and picturesque Wicklow with a top class golf course.
Beautiful hotel, incredibly friendly staff.
We were on a mini honey moon and the staff were incredible in making us feeling welcome and congratulated us at every opportunity.
We will definitely be coming back!
Could not recommend anymore!
Thank you!
Great location, great views, great breakfast. This is the sort of B&B that one hopes to encounter, but doesn't very often. We had only a short time at Blessington lakes but will return, and when we do we'll try for the same accommodation again
Clearly the Hotel had been updated as very clean and new looking inside. Golf course looked great, but a shame you're not allowed to have a walk around unless playing gold. Views over lake were lovely and in the sun the grounds were amazing.
Excellent condition and location 1 minute to the hotel with a fabulous restaurant Owners very helpful Lots of free parking available and great WiFi Would definitely stay again
Thank you for a beautiful stay
Beautiful hotel. Stayed for a wedding. Staff were incredible friendly and efficient. Location was great and the scenery was really nice. An overall amazing experience and would recommend to all.
The service was very friendly and the hotel was very pleasant. I asked to be accommodated for as I am vegan and they went above and beyond to cater for this. The food was lovely.
Beautiful location. Great hosts and food. Good location for hikes in Glendalough and Wicklow. Food at Hollywood Inn (pub), was excellent, which was 5 minutes away.
