We loved everything about Bunbeg, lovely coastal area with a fabulous stunning large beach. Where Bad Eddie's boat wreck is a must to see. We dined at Sean Og bar and restaurant - fabulous food. You can visit Gola Island, Cruit Island is nearby too. Walking will give you plenty of beautiful scenery. Just loved it.

It is a great location for travelling to other places of interests and some of the lovely sandy beaches in Donegal, Mullaghduff, Carrickfinn and The Boat Strand. There were no restaurants nearby but they did offer to drive us (we walked about 20 minutes). We had a very special evening of music at a nearby pub (10 minutes away), ‘Teach Hiudi Beag’ that was the highlight of our bicycle tour through Ireland (5 1/2 weeks). Check it out if you are in the area; they play Monday and Friday.
