I forgot to mention in my first review that our bed was so comfortable. And even though we had a difficult time in the beginning locating our room, we really did enjoy our stay. The view is stunning. The town is so sweet and quaint and charming. Everything was wonderful. The only thing was locating our room was a bit tricky. And a few of the Spa staff were kind enough to help us or point us in the correct direction to our room and our meals and drinks at the hotel bar was wonderful delicious and lovely and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Ennistymon is my mother's family home.
Ennistymon is my mother's family home. On the anniversary of her death, we travelled there to celebrate her home and life. The town has changed a lot and is very welcoming to visitors. Amazing food is served in a fantastic eatery Byrnes. A great night with live music at Cooleys. The West coast of Clare is a true jewel in Ireland's crown. If you want to see Ireland at it's best and meet the loveliest and friendliest folk... then it is your destination. We did not want to leave.

Nice quiet wee town, but central for sight seeing, it was a comfort knowing we were going back to a nicee restful bed and breakfast at the end off the day and had a good breakfast in the morning😀.
We went to Moher, have walked both sides now, left hand side is a stone path, righthand side is steps with tarmacadam to come back down, easier.we also went to Lahinch and Bunratty Castle to visit.
In Lahinch, The Stone Pub is a great place for an meal, very busy.
There are lots of burger bars to get take away from and supermarkets in Ennistymon.

I would not stay at the Station House in Ennistymom.
I would not stay at the Station House in Ennistymom. We had reservations and was running late and thus host was extremely rude and yelling so loud that my husband could hear her over the phone. We did not feel comfortable staying at this facility.

Great cafe's & places to eat such as "Oh La La" & "The Cheese Press" plus interesting bookshops like "The Salmon Bookshop" & "Banner Books"
Very welcoming community, everyone up for the chats. It's also close enough to Lahinch beach but far enough away to get away from the madness of the beach in high season.
Breakfast: The breakfast was enjoyable.
Room: the bed was really comfortable, it was lovely to have a bath, and I enjoyed the shower. I also appreciated the availability of a fan.
I loved the pool, and the hot tub outside by the river.
The staff were charming and helpful.
The setting is beautiful and I was pleased to see that it's a carbon neutral hotel. It's also conveniently central, within walking distance of the town.
The hosts were really hospitable and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and Phyllis was kind enough to accommodate when the booking party grew from 2 to 5 people. The cottage itself is lovely and very comfortable. It comes equipped with everything required for cooking/laundry etc. Its perfectly located within a stones throw to Ennistymon and Lahinch/Doolin not so far away either.
The location in town was so quaint and lovely. I love the donkeys in the field. The food at the bar was superb. I love how close it is to the main street of that town. Beautiful walk from the hotel to the streets of the town. I love the proximity to the Cliff’s of Moher from this town.
Superb location, just a few steps away from the main street great pubs, restaurants, a few quirky shops. Take a stroll along riverside walk (entrance at laneway beside Byrne's restaurant) which leads up to the Falls Hotel. Bar inside hotel has fab views overlooking town &waters below.
The owner was friendly, and we had a nice big breakfast in the dining area the next morning. Clean, large room and a very short drive to the cute nearby town for dinner. It would have been walkable if we weren't in a bit of hurry to get there before restaurants closed.
This is a great location if you're going to visit the Cliffs of Moher. The rooms are clean and the hosts are kind and accommodating. The breakfast was great! It's a short walk into town where you'll find restaurants and pubs and a beautiful view over the river.
B&B on the outside, hotel on the inside. We were staying for Day 2 of a wedding and had stayed in the Falls the night before - I’d argue this place was nicer! incredibly clean room, newly refurbished, well stocked, kind owners and stunning breakfast 🥰
The man who owns the hotel was really nice. You explained what to do in the area where to go, and of course everything in the room. The location was nearby the cliffs of mohair, which made it easy to travel, and we even visited Galway.
Staff, food, hotel location.
The Staff are very friendly and helpful.
The food is exceptional.
The location on the side of the river makes for lovely views.
Free parking.
Ideal base for exploring the surrounding areas
Very nice and clean rooms. Friendly and helpful hosts. Excellent breakfast. Ennistymon is a very nice little place with good pubs and great scenery, not far from the Cliffs of Moher.
Sheila and Jerry were excellent hosts! They made us feel at home. Their property has a beautiful view of the countryside. Just a short way outside Ennistymon not far from Lahinch.
