Rossroe Lodge was lovely in every way! Very appealing layout to ensure privacy, absolutely spotless room with en-suite, and a charming common room with very good selection of books & DVDs. The dining room for breakfast and dinner was bright and airy with windows facing the water! Heated floors and excellent soundproofing offered added comfort, as the weather was chilly and windy.
The grounds are well groomed with spectacular blooming flowers. The neighboring property had 4 healthy cows whose lifestyle we enjoyed watching. The bay in front of the property was always visible even in foggy weather: the water is so close to the house! Built up, the dwelling would not flood. Parking was roomy and secure but not visible from the bedrooms.
The hosts, Mary and Sylvaine, were the best feature of all. Friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and always respectful of guest privacy. This wonderful couple set the tone for our stay. The breakfasts were delicious as well as the dinners. Mary did laundry for us and offered an apple pie breakfast the morning we left early for Galway Harbor.

Roundstone is such a charming village. This apartment was close to a small market, cafes, pubs, and restaurants all within a very short walking distance. Parking was also very easy. The apartment was spacious, well furnished, and warm. The convience of a washer and dryer was great for my long trip in Europe and having tea and espresso supplies provided for each morning was wonderful. I felt right at home and felt very comfortable during my stay.

The location is perfect. We visited Kylemore Abbey one day and Connemara National Park both were about at 30 minute drive. We checked out the beaches close to the B&B as well.

Beautiful place, not much to do apart from walk and watch the wildlife. One pub which had a christening on the day I visited so stuck in the hotel once it went dark. It was November so not the ideal time as limited daylight

The location and scenery were fantastic as was the host Susie. From a covid hygiene point of view I couldn't fault it and seeing Susie sanitising the other units left me in no doubt that we were perfectly safe. I can't wait to book and go again.

Nice quiet area.. there is a lovely beach about 8 mins in a car.. restaurant in the hotel was perfect for food on both nights.. there doesn’t appear to be anywhere else to eat there..Kylemore abbey about 40 mins away is worth going to see but make sure you get there before 4 as it closes entry at that time..

The cottage was right on the ocean.
The cottage was right on the ocean. Our host came to meet us at a nearby restaurant to guide us to the cottage. The amenities were amazing- free wi-fi, tv with net-flix, a variety of groceries in the cupboard, comfortable furnishings. It provided an authentic experience. Wonderful.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were excellent.
There was nothing to dislike.
It was a quiet area but we travelled to other places on the Wild Atlantic Way as we travelled by car
From the coast to the mountains the scenery was beautiful.
The staff were very friendly and helpful from the initial enquiry to during the actual stay. It was a relief to see the the high standards the hotel staff applied to cleanliness at all times to minimise covid risks for guests. The rooms were nicely decorated, fresh and very clean. The dinner in the restaurant was superb. Overall it was a great hotel to visit. We look forward to staying there again.
I was doing The Wild Atlantic Way by Motorbike the Parking was fine a large area to choose from. I enjoyed the evening meal and The Full Irish Breakfast was wonderful.. The Hotel is in a quite area with fine beaches nearby so transport is essential. The Connemara Loop is a half hours drive away. I have now recommended this Hotel to others who like a relaxed area. I thought it was very good Value
Such a beautiful spot to stay in, we had the best time. Food is fantastic (especially the lamb shank!) staff are super friendly, and the hotel is spotless. Great location with beautiful scenery and rugged beaches nearby, but also not a million miles away from towns and Kylemore abbey etc. We will 100 percent be back!
Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent wifi
rooms were very clean, hotel was quiet. We had delicious food, lots of choice for breakfast and dinner. Have to mention staff again as they were all v friendly and made us feel very welcome.
