Beautiful vibrant town with welcoming people everywhere.
Beautiful vibrant town with welcoming people everywhere. The area by the river is particularly beautiful. There are plenty of things to do and see and the market ( if you get the chance to see it) is lovely. The tiny Costello chapel is moving and a tiny gem. Really good range of places to eat and some very excellent ones amongst them. The whole town has a bustling vibrant feel and is a complete delight. It is well located to allow you to visit a range fo places of interest further afield.

Apartment was clean, bright spacious, exactly as described. Mo and Stuart were lovely to deal with, checking in and out was easy they were friendly, approachable and very helpful during our stay even going beyond to help us out with an issue we had. Rooms were comfortable and the area was ideal- quiet yet a stones throw to the centre of town. Would happily recommend this to friends and family and will definitely rebook next time we are down in Carrick on Shannon.
We didn’t stay at the property. The little gem by the boardwalk was disgusting, dated, and did not have anything to recommend it. It was mis sold and I therefore request a complete refund. I understood that the bathroom was an en suite and that we would have some privacy and not sharing the apartment with the proprietor. We had to check into an hotel which cost us €500.00 for the three nights.
We await your response!!
Brilliant house, especially for children and a bonus that it allows pets. The children loved the trampoline and climbing frame.
Very private with plenty of space for the children and dogs to run about, yet only a 5 minute drive to Tesco and a shopping outlet, and a 10 minute drive to Carrick on Shannon town centre.
House quite modern, with a cosy living room. Nice view of the lake.
Will definitely return
A friend and I stayed here while we were on a hen weekend in carrick on Shannon. We wanted a bit of peace and quiet away from the town and that is what we got! The surroundings are so beautiful and peaceful. The cottage was perfect, all the amenities we needed and even a gorgeous terrace area to enjoy a cup of tea before hitting the town. Only wish we got to stay longer!
The guest house is exceptionally bright and clean. The location is in a quiet area just outside Carrick on Shannon, which suited our needs perfecty. Jessica is a great friendly host, she went above and beyond to accomodate my partner who is a wheelchair user, and gave us recommendations for where to eat as well. Thanks for a great stay!
We loved everything about the Leitrim Marina Hotel. Collette at reception was so helpful and so welcoming and gave us an upgrade, all the staff were very pleasant room was very clean with a lovely view of the canal. We will be staying here again as soon as possible. ❤
This was the perfect stay in the cutest little town. Large hotel with very friendly staff. Our room was large and comfortable. Staff recommended bars to check out in the local area and suggestions on where to eat. Would recommended to everyone!
Nice property but cost was very high given the quality. The location is fab, we sat watching boats go by in the sun outside which was lovely. The food was very nice. we had breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel and staff were fab.
The room was large and the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very nice as well.
The car park was just in the back of the hotel. We needed directions from staff to access it, but it was easy to find and easy to park.
Couldn’t rate The Bush Hotel high enough, staff, food, facilities and attention to detail were excellent. We traveled with our 2 children and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Felt really safe COVID wise as well.
This was a great spot to stay in, so close to carrick on Shannon town. Plenty of shops around for groceries. The house was very clean and comfortable, plenty of clean towels with some toiletries available to use.
The apartment is located in the middle of Carrick on Shannon town centre . Great private parking aswell . Excellent if visiting Carrick or attending a wedding in a near by hotel .
Kelly, at the front desk was very helpful and was able to let us check in a couple hours early. It’s a lovely hotel right across from the marina and close to everything in town.
Smooth check in I was attending a wedding in the Landmark Hotel so Carrick Plaza Suites were in a ideal location right across the road I will definitely book to stay again
