Beautiful beach and only a short drive to Doagh Famine...
Beautiful beach and only a short drive to Doagh Famine village. It was quiet when we stayed at the end of May but there is a shop where you can buy wine and beer etc. We ate in McGroarys and walked around the old graveyard before heading to the beach which is only a short walk away. There was a lovely mist around the bridge walking back to Ceecliff House which was just beautiful.

The beach; amazing!
The beach; amazing! I was familiar with it because we took our children over many times years ago but it was just wonderful to be there with a friend. Chatting away to so many people who live there.
We went inside one of the pubs (only the beer garden was open due to covid), and we had a great chat and laugh with the owner and other staff. Lovely.
People are great we got so much help when we almost missed our bus! Customers in a wee grocery shop were all doing their best to find out about the busses' timetable! Staff in the hotel arranged a taxi! Thank you all from Laura and Caron.

Attractive village.
Attractive village. Short drive to the beach, & easily walkable given a bit more time there. Good location with plenty to do on the peninsula. Nothing is too far away. At this time of year, some places close earlier than their advertised times, so leave plenty time if there is somewhere you particularly want to visit. The Mary Crowley art gallery is well worth a stop on the craft trail. Superb original water colours as well as prints, all very reasonably priced, & very personable artist happy to spend time with you.

Absolutely perfect holiday, beautiful big and clean house.
Absolutely perfect holiday, beautiful big and clean house. Everything there for you when you arrive with a lovely welcome gift. Easy and good people to deal with very helpful and we would give it five stars out of five. So close to shops and beach nearby. I cant fault this house in anyway, we look forward to returning in the future.
A wonderful hotel to stay in. Very comfortable and exceptionally clean rooms. The service was second to none and the food superb. We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel and the choice and quality was outstanding.
The service and hospitality from the staff was amazing. The warm cosy inviting bar, dining area and breakfast room were beautiful and tastefully decorated. The value for money was incredible.
Beautiful Irish thatched cottage that has been in the family for over 100 years. There is a cosy living room kitchen with a TV. The bedroom has a double bed and single bed and TV. Laovely grren space to eat and relax outside. Close to the village of Culdaff and Culdaff beach. Great location for discovering the Inisowenl Peninsula. Conor is a friendly, helpful host. Pet friendly accommodation too
Culdaff is a beautiful location with friendly locals and a great base to explore Donegal. Darren was a great host and the house suited our needs as a family of five. The house is in a very quiet estate with considerate neighbours. Very close to the most amazing beach. Highly recommend the pizza shop across the road for food.
The property was very clean throughout, and had a very homely feel.
There was plenty of spares of everything from kitchen ware to towels and extras were thought about including blankets, cleaning products etc.
We loved our stay and will be back to Culdaff in the future.
Lovely hotel and friendly staff. It was my Mother’s birthday so took her for a little road trip from Belfast and staff were more than helpful and sang Happy birthday with a little cake. Very thoughtful of them as it’s the little things 8n life that mean a lot. Thank you.
The property has been designed to accommodate a couple or small family with every effort taken to meet needs. Easily accessible to Culdaff beach and within walking distance to the village and amenities. Lovely host who was keen to ensure our experience was rewarding.
We cannot recommend this place highly enough. The accommodation was spotless, the breakfast was fit for a king, and Michael was the perfect host - he couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be back, only for longer next time
It was flawless. Beds were comfy, shower was outstanding, breakfast was amazing and the host was as welcoming as ever. Best B&B I've stayed in and better than most hotels. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
This was a great location for what we wanted, we wanted a quiet Easter with our kids full off walks and beaches days.there was 3 beeches with in 10 minutes of this location and each beech was beautiful,
My wife & I stayed in McGrorys thru New year . Perfect location for Malin Head , Ballyliffin and a nice walk to a fantastic beach. Nice bar with good atmosphere . Lovely staff.
We have been staying in this hotel for about 16 years as we have family near by. While this hotel is fine now, it used to be so much better when it was family run.
The cottage is lovely and in a great position, close to both Culdaff and Malin. The garden was also very nice and Conor is a great host, very responsive
