Room was modern and elegant. Loved that we could stream Netflix from our iPad to the room TV. Spacious, clean bathroom. In room amenities excellent. Standard size room was larger than expected. Hotel is like a boutique hotel. Front desk staff incredibly attentive and helpful. Would stay here every time we are in Cork. Best hotel we stayed at while traveling in Ireland.

Cork itself does not offer much, but can be a good starting point for the Wild Atlantic Way adventures. IF you are traveling with a car. Traveling by train & public busses does not bring you to the coast etc. The City Gaol is nice to visit, good shopping options including the English market. Skipped the Blarney Castle due to high cost. So next time probably driving with a rental car, but then a stay outside a city is also an option. Very good variety of restaurants.

Great genealogy and family history day was held at the Cork County Archives. Very friendly staff and excellent speakers. I did not know this was an annual event that they held there and I would recommend it to anyone interested in genealogy. It was well attended and I understand it will be repeated next Thursday 18th April such was the demand for seats. I hope to return to the archives for research and to attend their annual family history day.

The city was great.
The city was great. Lots of shops and places to visit nearby. There are many hills so bear in mind if your about travelling. The Old City Goal is up a huge hill so Taxi there and walk back (downhill) Taxis are cheap enough to use but some of them are cheeky with the prices. The weather was good for our stay but remember to take an umbrella as it often rains unexpectedly.

First of all the buses are shocking , waited over an hour at the airport for a bus to cork city and returning found out they only run every hour !!!
But the city is wonderful , every type of shop you would want , lovely walks along the river and the people are so friendly , will definitely be returning!!
Gorgeous views over Cork City! We spent one night here as part of a long trip around Ireland and had a great time. After arriving at the hotel we decided not to venture back to the city center and made a night of it at the Montenotte - cocktails in the bar, dinner, followed by a movie in the hotel’s theater. It wasn’t super convenient to other restaurants, etc., but was a great destination hotel.
The hotel had been ideal for us as the bus stop was literally outside the hotel and we went to Cork to see Route 94 in Cypress Avenue and the hotel was only a 5 minute walk from the venue and 10 minutes from other restaurants and places we went to.
We stayed in room 215 and it was kept really clean and it was really comfortable and looking out the window at Cork City was a sight in itself.
The property itself was more secluded than expected but still in a lovely area. It’s definitely a stay for someone who is not pushed about being in the heart of the city centre.
The staff were also some of the most accommodating, friendly and helpful that I have ever encountered in a hotel. They will go above and beyond and are certainly one of the main reasons I’ll be back.
This is lovely B& B just outside the city centre. You can walk in easily in about half an hour or catch the bus right across the road from the B&B. The room was very clean, great hot water in the shower, a delicious breakfast spread of cheese, yogurt, fruit salad, jams, toast, oatmeal, juice, tea etc… and above all, a super nice and friendly host, Susan. hIghly recommended.
Located right next to the Cork Airport, the hotel is clean, rooms are spacious and it is quiet! We never heard a plane taking off or landing. The restaurant had very good food. We arrived mid-morning and even though check-in is at 3pm, they had rooms ready for us. If you want to go into Cork City however, it’s about a ten minute cab ride.
We liked everything about the hotel from the friendliness and efficiency of the front desk staff at both checkin and checkout, the clean, comfortable room and all facilities, the ambiance of the lobby bar and the top floor bar. We also liked the location of the hotel, very convenient to the city centre, shops, bars, restaurants etc.
Less than 10 minutes walk to Cork City centre. Free onsite parking. Clean, comfortable spacious room, nicely decorated throughout the hotel. Great selection of breakfast, very tasty. Staff very friendly, efficient and thoughtful. As we were checking out we were offered bottles of chilled water for our journey. Great idea.
Right in the city centre but very quiet at the same time, super new, the room is not very big (except for the bathroom/shower, best part of the room) but there are a lot of communal areas and services. Everything is super new. Good price vs many other accomodations. Friendly and helpful staff. Recommended to stay here
It’s location is close to the city centre but in a old, historic part of Cork City and adjoins the distinguished Shandon church. The hotel was a former hospital and the rooms including a number with circular walls seem spacious and comfortable. Staff were helpful and the breakfast buffet is varied and tasty.
The hotel is at an excellent location, close to the university and just a short walk away from the city centre. The room itself was spacious and clean, very comfortable and with all commodities, and the hotel is very modern and stylish. Friendly and helpful staff, and we were very satisfied with our stay.
Met by a friendly member of staff, we stayed two nights here as part of our Road Trip round Ireland. A good location very close to the city centre, but in a quiet residential area, parking at the Guesthouse.
Great spotless room with a nice en-suite.
BEST breakfast of the whole Road Trip.
Compared to other hotels during our trip around Ireland, this one was like a factory. Plenty of people in every place, cue to the reception. However, it was modern, rooms of reasonable size, clean. Our room had a river view, so very pleasant.
Underground parking, good location.
Location excellent, rooms tiny but knew that on booking perfect for girly getaway , walking distance from train station. Fabulous cafes and restaurants mins away. Cocktails in hotel fab , walking distance from city centre.
Exquisite hotel in the beautiful city of cork. The hotel is tastefully decorated, and very clean. Comfortable rooms, dreamy beds. Great location for the city centre and buses for travel. Friendly helpful staff.
Great hotel in the bustling area with Cork City. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and pubs within a short walk and easy to be totally content. Would recoommend this hotel to other travelers as well!
