Dingle is a compact town on the southern side of the eponymous peninsular. It has a plethora of bars, restaurants, shops and cafes. At the waterfront are a number of businesses offering boat trips and there is an aquarium. Dingle is at the start of the Slea Head Drive, a tour around the peninsular visiting many interesting sites and exploring the wonderful scenery in this part of the world. However, once these are done there's not much to occupy you beyond more food and drink, or listening to music in those places offering you food and drink! Having said that, it is very good food indeed, with wonderful seafood almost everywhere. The local beer is also very good and makes a change from the omnipresent Guinness. Great scenery and tourist attractions nearby. Excellent cafés and restaurants . We ate in Dingle Diner, My Blue Boy , Fenton, Little Italy and Blue Ocean. All excellent. This was my first time in Dingle and I absolutely loved it!
This was my first time in Dingle and I absolutely loved it! I stayed there for three days exploring the area and I will certainly come back when I have the chance. Dingle town is so lively and the Slea Head loop drive is one of the most magical places I've seen. I stopped at every viewing point, archaeological site, and other points of interest. What a gorgeous place. We loved it. Great gate away for family. So many things to see, lots restaurants, shops, an Aquarium etc. It is an artistic town in our point of view. At least two breathtaking coastal drives start in Dingle and we really enjoyed doing them both. It was also easy to access a range of beautiful and deserted beaches (this was in March though) and to visit nearby towns and villages.AudUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Pat took time to talk to us and offered to drop us off in town if we wanted. He gave us suggestions for sight seeing. The breakfasts were delicious. There is a beautiful "sun" room attached to the property. We were able to sit there and read a book one day when it was pouring out. The other days, the sun shone in, making it so beautiful. Amazing lit up bar for celebrations of all sorts. Very welcoming hotel. Money for value and they take payments over the phone. Hotel also has a 14 bed room for large group events and traveling through backpackers.

The people running the shops were Irish compared to cities like Dublin and Cork. These were generation shop owners. We loved it! The drive down to Dingle and the peninsula was epic. We also loved the beautiful old dog on the property who likes to roam and greet new visitors. Our view of the marina, farm, and mountains were gorgeous. From the B&B you can walk to Ventry (4 km) and to Dunquin (20km) through beautiful nature along the coast. The B&B is very comfortable and the outlook from our room (number 1) was excellent to the lake and the hills. The day started with a great breakfast in the kitchen presented by Camilla, the owner of the B&B. Camilla is an excellent host and a source of information about the Dingle peninsula. Thanks Camilla!

Billing itself as the most westerly hotel in Europe, An Ceann SIbeal has gorgeous rooms, lovely staff and a fantastic location. There's so many beautiful places to see on this peninsula that no matter how long you stay it's never long enough.
