It was a good hotel. Comfortable bed... the bathroom had been renovated recently... that was nice.

Location is quite and is surrounded by nature. When I walked across the street I was in the National Park. It was about a 1 mile walk to Mucross House on the park paved bike and walking trails which was a huge plus to this location. The Mucross Abbey was even closer ( about 1/4) of a mile. In the evening you can return to the hotel and choose the spa, or a variety of relaxing fine wine and dine experiences.
