It's a pretty town and at one end of a walking/cycling Greenway with Athlone at the other end (about 46kms). I could definitely see taking my bike on the train from home to Athlone, biking the Greenway, taking a day or two to visit Mullingar, then the return trip to Athlone and home.

Mullingar is a very lively & musical town - always musical events going on. I was meeting an old friend for carvery lunch in Bloomfield. Although we dined at 12.15, the food was only warm, not hot! Dining situation was in the bar/lounge with beautiful view of lake & very comfortable seating. Serving staff extremely pleasant.
Mullingar is very easy to get around - fairly compact, but own car necessary. Plenty of parking available.
Next time I would demand to view my room before payment to make certain that I was not dumped in a childrens' room! There are other hotels.

It was a shame the weather was bad when we stayed
Mullingar is a bustling town to visit right beside the old rail line and we used the train one the return journey. There too staff members were more than helpful .

Great Variety. Leisure centre was lovely. Staff were lovely and friendly. Definitely recommend and will be returning in the future. Fantastic hotel for families and couples.
iThe house was beautiful, comfortable, clean and Enda was most helpful and welcoming. She went above and beyond to make sure we comfortable, well situated and relaxed after a long day of driving. Will definitely choose Keyfield House on our next trip through Mullingar
Room was nice and clean and so was the en suite.
Breakfast the next morning was very good and cooked fresh for us. Better than most hotels. The location was perfect, right in the town center and had enough parking for residents. Was very happy with my stay there.
Charming clean rooms, staff were lovely to deal with. Everything about the hotel has its own unique character, and all in the middle of the town too! We felt very relaxed and would definitely stay here again!
Room was superb with every facility you would expect. Tea/coffee making TV hairdryer etc
There is a small park with lake beside the hotel.
In the town centre but set back from the road so very quiet
This hotel is in a fantastic location in Mullingar Town Centre. The staff throughout the hotel are pleasant, friendly & courteous. The apartments are a great size yet basic.
Everything the hotel is central location... The staff were unbelievable from front desk to staff delivering extra towels and to the bar staff especially David and Max
The guesthouse was immaculately clean and well equipped. The owners also very kindly gave me a lift into the town to the event I was attending. 5 stars all round 🤗
