I was really was impressed by the wealth of local points of interest and beautiful scenery. The canal walk was lovely and was about 5k long. The local eateries were great, corner cafe was a fabulous spot for lunch, Smiths lovely food for dinner, Drumcoura city was our favourite place for dinner, by a lough with horses, idyllic and great portions and quality, and great value. Good access everywhere via car. Hope you enjoy if you decide to check it out!

The canal walk is absolutely stunning, and the people I have to say are some of the nicest I have met. It's quite an old town so you can tell you are going to get lots of history with it, be sure and visit the local pub to get all the best ones

The location was ideal for us just outside Ballinamore. Patricia was friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious with lovely high ceiling. The bed was super comfy and the whole place was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the sunny conservatory. Patricia asked our preference for cooked food and we had eggs and sausage which was ideal. Nice chilled fruit bowl too. Other options available also. It’s in a beautiful rural setting with Shannon Erne waterway just close by. We enjoyed our one night stay very much.

It’s quite surrounding and tranquil setting , allows this hidden gem to trap you in the enjoyable basics of life a stove fire a glass of your favourite and a chat with family or friends . It’s facilities were like something out of a hotel , showers you can’t bring your self to get out of , and beds that make you feel like your home . And margret thinks of everything , from bread and milk to ice in the freezer every thing u would look for was at your disposal . A fantastic stay .

Hamils B & B is a lovely comfortable place to stay in an ideal location, in the centre of the town of Ballinamore, but off the road in a quiet area. Bernadette and Damian were the perfect hosts, friendly and helpful from the moment we met them. The B & B itself is clean and comfortable with excellent facilities - a coffee machine outside our door, a spacious room with a very comfortabe bed and a modern ensuite. The breakfast was top notch.

Riversdale is a unique B&B - a lovely historic old house in a beautiful part of Leitrim, just a short drive to Ballinamore, with great facilities and a really welcoming host & staff. Swimming pool & gym, local canal walk, comfortable sitting rooms, great night sky. We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and with nice decor and bathroom. Lovely breakfast. Would highly recommend

Lovely old farm house with character , nice quiet countryside location but only few minutes drive ballinamore and 25 mins from Carrick on Shannon. Good size big rooms and has the benefits of a nice heated pool which is a first for me in a b&b and we really enjoyed it. Very nice staff and a great breakfast to get you going in the morning

Wonderful house with plenty of space. Host couldn’t have been more hospitable. Even had some welcoming dry goods and snacks and a couple of fridge staples. Right across from lovely Garadice lake and only a few minutes from Ballinamore. Loved it.
