Fantastic stay at The Park Hotel, would highly recommend a visit to this gem of a hotel in the beautiful sunny coastal town of Dungarvan. From the moment we arrived till we left, we were treated extremely well by staff with a lovely upgrade to a beautiful suite, fun Bbq nights with live music in the beer garden and very tasty food with a menu to suit all . Thank you so much Park Hotel for a Wonderful 3 night stay and look forward to returning again 😀
The room was clean, and comfortable and we slept well. All of the staff we met(reception, bar, restaurant) were very friendly, informative and obliging. For example, we had a car issue which needed to be dealt with urgently and the reception staff immediately sourced a local garage for us and the problem was sorted. The location of the hotel is good, particularly for anyone interested in walking or cycling the Dungarvan/Waterford Greenway.
One of our best experience in a B&B! Catherine and Alistair were really welcoming and friendly. Their house is located on the top of a hill and the view from the room is stunning. Add to this delicious homemade dinner and breakfast, and you have the recipe for a perfect weekend in Dungarvan.
We only spent one night there, but we'll be back for sure. We wholeheartedly recommend the place!
I’ve stayed in this hotel previously and I love it’s location to Dungarvan. Also as I had decided to the Greenway, the bike rental was adjacent to hotel which was useful for collection and drop off. The room was clean and comfortable. The coffee truck outside was also lovely and the garden area out back was lovely especially with the sunshine.
Everything was perfect for us, amazing hosts they were so kind, it will a pleasure to come back to this lovely place, great and peaceful location, the viewing is beautiful enjoyable after a long day exploring around, all facilities extremely clean and comfy, delicious breakfast, I can say it was the best B&B we have stayed in Ireland.
The hotel was beautifully decorated and just perfect for our 2 night getaway with out dog. The bed was super comfy and the staff were exceptional and even arranged for us to have dinner indoors with our dog at their sister restaurant, a rare treat for any people travelling in Ireland with a pet.
#10 was in the middle of Dungarvan, and surrounded by great restaurants. It was quiet and functional. The lift was great, as the apartment is on the 3rd floor. The beds were very comfortable and the small balcony offered an outside view. Free parking was available very close.
We booked Dun Ard for 2 nights so that se can visit Dungarvan and ride bikes along the Waterford Greenway. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. Our hostesses were most hospitable and gave us other recommendations for rainy days. They made us a delicious breakfast.

If you want a 5 star B & B this is it. Great location for visiting West Waterford & Dungarvan. Beautiful & comfortable room. Breakfast was first class. You were able to choose something different each morning & excellently presented. Thanks Joe & Ann
Excellent location, only a very short very pleasant walk to the heart of Dungarvan, the host is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is very good with some of the best mushrooms I’ve ever had! ;-)
The house is located in an amazing place, very beautiful, we had fantastic breakfast, clean and comfy rooms, place deserves award as the best family house not only in Ireland (that it has since 1999)
