I judge a place by its people, and to me they make you feel very welcome. Myself &the Mrs go to Sligo Town, at least six times a year for 2/ 3 days at a time. Its home from home, great food , great bars, Trad music, and great to relax. Love Sligo

We were mostly in the Strandhill area which is beautiful. Lots of places to eat and drink. Beautiful beach area where surfers were surfing, and Knocknarea to climb if you have the legs for it! Dinner at The Venue and best we’ve had so far.
The Strand Bar was fantastic too. Fresh sweet seafood!

Sligo is a lovely place, both for itself and its location to explore lots of interesting places nearby. There are lots of cafes and restaurants to suit every taste.
The man in the tourist office was so nice and helpful. We were sorry that we couldn't go on the walking tour It sounded very interesting .
The one way traffic system is a bit confusing but we got used to it quickly. Actually, I'd advise people to park the car and just walk.. its much quicker.

Our stay at the Clayton was brilliant, room was lovely big large king-size bed room was lovely and warm very quiet, breakfast was amazing loads to choose from and plenty of it, staff great very attentive. Pool was great as was the jacuzzi. Lisa from Derry.
Restaurant food was excellent.
Young staff were the best and most attentive of any hotel I've stayed in Ireland. I mean that.
Kids were manerly , attentive clean listened to what they were told by us, was no issue to go to kitchen to check requests. Mature beyond years.
Those who served us as well as the others moving about. Please tell them same..
Staff trainer top marks.
The hotel was very well located 15 min drive outside Sligo in a beautiful and quiet area.
You are welcome by lovely staff and some relaxing music playing in the room on the vintage radio. The decoration is exquisite, and the cleanliness was on top. The room was spacious with a small sofa.
Very agréable and relaxing stay would recommend it and definitely will come back.
Super comfortable bed, which is my priority when traveling. I was in a double room with a river view. The front desk staff was awesome, providing me with tips of things to do. The location is perfect, with the river running right behind the hotel. It's a short walk, 2 minutes, to bars and restaurants. The shower was excellent, with high pressure water.
The Radisson in Sligo is a safe choice. Spacious rooms, friendly staff, good bar and restaurant with the best kids menu we found on our Ireland road trip. Is it an exceptional hotel when you compare it with other hotels around the world? No… But it is a great choice in the region and a recommendation when you get a good deal!
The kitchen had plenty of utensils and pots. The rooms were clean and were not too small. The house was cosy and warm (once we were shown how to turn the heating on). The duvets were good quality and the beds were comfy. It's a really good, central, spot for getting into Sligo town or for touring around the countryside.
The staff were lovely, so helpful and friendly. The team on reception were the best, they were very welcoming. The hotel itself is quite modern and the room we stayed in had a lot of space and great views. It's close enough to get to town by taxi or to go out towards Rosses point.
Great location for exploring Sligo, walking distance to Sligo town centre! Friendly staff. Bed was very comfortable, room nice and clean. Complimentary water and crisps in the room. Wifi not an issue as used data on phone. This hotel is perfect for a trip to Sligo! Free parking.
Amazing hosts! Great communication. The place was extremely clean, good location and easy to find (just add the Eircode on Google Maps). Close enough to City Centre e and to the N4 which takes to many places around Sligo. The place has everything that you need. Great shower!!
The lodge was meticulously clean, the decor was beautiful, and the breakfast was wonderful. We felt welcome, and the owners were friendly and helpful. I would recommend Pearse Lodge to anyone who wants a quiet and quality accommodation for their stay in Sligo.
Ended up in sligo with my daughter being admitted to hospital, this place give the Clayton hotel a run for its money at half the price.Host was very personable and very understanding of the situation when you just need to put your head down for a few hrs.
It was a welcomed me relief from guesthouses or hotels. A tiny, cozy cabin in the Irish countryside. We were delighted that it rained all night and had the patter on the roof. Michelle was very communicative and helpful.
