The hotel has it's own underground parking which was easily accessible and could be validated at reception upon check-out for €20 per night.
The lobby was nicely decorated and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby also served lunch and dinner until 10pm. Check out was 12pm the next day which was great as most hotels are earlier.
The room was clean and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was nice and there was plenty of clean towels. Toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were available. 2 robes and slippers were provided. Tea and Coffee facilities were available as there was a coffee pods machine in the room. The TV in the room had live TV and also apps such as Netflix, Disney +, now tv available to log into. It was my partners birthday and they gave him complimentary chocolates and a birthday card waiting in the room.
Location was perfect. We used Uber to get around or walked. Ideal if you wanted to go out as many late night bars around.
The leisure centre was nice. The pool could do with an update but ideal for what was needed. It was clean and very nice to use after a night out before checking out.
Breakfast had all the regular Irish breakfast options.

Firstly, we were greeted by Daniel at the Reception. He was so courteous and very approachable. He gave us good tips of things to do around the city and also gave us very good suggestions of pubs we could go to after dinner. Every one of those places he mentioned were just absolute spot on. Apart from the upgrade Daniel, thanks so much for making the birthday staycation a memorable one. We are definitely coming back very soon!!

Dublin might not seem as likeable or picturesque as other European cities, but has its own undeniable charm that lingers in your memory long after you leave it.
Public transport is not the best, we struggled a bit with the system and witht the TFI app, but generally ok.
Public toilets are hard to find (if there are any).
The city centre is beautifully walkable.

Beautiful City however O Connell Bridge not too pleasant after 7pmish??? Vintage Afternoon Tea Tour Bus a lovely experience. Grafton Street shopping lovely and St Stephens Green is a beautiful place to visit .
Everyone we met were friendly and helpful . Not been to Dublin for some years and would definatley go back as so much to see and do.
Arlington Hotel , Batchelors Walk provides great location, staff and food so lovely and the entertainment is fantastic ,especially the The Celtic Nights evening ...singers , dancers and food provide a lovely Irish welcoming evening . Thank you Arlington Staff
Easy access to other side of river. Your service manager, Gabriel, was a gem. Sharp fellow. I needed a plug in charging unit to accommodate my US devices and where I had previously stayed in SW Ireland, both hotels and supplied same. Gabriel overheard my conversation w one of your desk staff, saw I was mildly annoyed, came up and offered help, to wit: he offered me the use of HIS charger plug in during the duration of my trip. That was gracious and he clearly was a very customer oriented manager. That was extremely appreciated.
This is easily the best hotel I've stayed at in Ireland (and I've been to a few). The room has all the facilities you may need and more, and is impeccably kept. Breakfast has plenty of choice and is abundant. Location is right in the heart of Dublin and makes a great base to travel around (although the city centre does get rather dodgy at times). The price was pretty reasonable for Ireland (although it's usually much higher). Staff are usually helpful. Restaurant was also good.
Comfy compact room with everything you need. Had A great nights sleep. toiletries, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, plenty of towels, air con / heating , tea coffee and biscuits, check out at 11 so time to recover from a great night around dublin. Car park 2 min walk just across the road. Could not fault the room it was perfect for our little stop off around Ireland. Lovely friendly staff and I hope the bar lady managed to book herself a nice holiday !!
Amazing experience from start to finish. As it was our honeymoon, they upgraded us to the Royal Suite at no extra charge. The suite was simply the best place we've ever stayed. Rainwater shower, huge comfortable 4 poster bed, and our own observatory complete with telescope so we could see all of Dublin. The meals were good and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We loved our stay at Clontarf and we will be back when we visit Ireland again!
Beautiful old Georgian hotel within walking distance of Dublin city centre, Temple Bar, and Connolly Train station. Very welcoming helpful staff, comfortable rooms, fabulous breakfast, and good Castle Vaults restaurant on the lower ground floor (we dined there on the first night). Exceptional staff service. If you’re wanting to stay in elegant historic hotel with original features, the Castle Hotel is very good choice for a city break.
This is probably the nicest, cleanest, best run Hostel we've stayed in, in many years of traveling around Ireland. Clean, clean! Great mattresses, pillows a bit thin, but that's the only negative comment I can make. Nice self catering kitchen, has a car park inside the gated courtyard, a huge bonus in Dublin. It costs €10 a night extra, but well worth it. It's close to city centre and transit systems. I'd recommend this to anyone.
This was a great stay in an expensive city. The location is convenient to the city centre and transport options. Breakfast was great, and I even got used to the loud music playing at breakfast time. You don’t get hotel staff or apartment facilities but once used to the way things run - it is a great spot. I will certainly stay here again when back in Dublin.
The hotel is very nice looking, on a traditional property. Our room was modern and very quiet, bed was comfortable and we had a very relaxing time at Pembroke Hall.
Though the hotel is on a quiet street, there are grocery stores, restaurants and pubs at very short walking distance. Most Dublin attractions and the city centre are a 20-30min walk away.
Travelodge Plus, Dublin City Centre, newly opened in 2023, is well located, a few minutes stroll from the Liffey and a 10 minute walk east of Temple Bar. The hotel room was compact but had everything you need for a comfotable stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The bar/restaurant & outdoor area offered plenty of seating. Would recommend.
New Hotel. Nice decor and comfortable and quiet rooms. Access to tram service is immediately outside of hotel and takes you anywhere in the city easily. Quick access via tram to and from the Heuston train station makes it a great location if you are coming or going to Southern Ireland via train and need a hotel in Dublin.
The location was great. It was near a bus line and theatres too (if you have time for that). Breakfast was great with a big assortment. The hotel had character with it's windy halls and wood trim. We forgot the plugs for the UK/Ireland and they were available for sale in the lobby (coin machine).
Location is absolutely great, the hotel is placed next to the famous and fabulous pub with the same name, very near to the city centre and literally two steps from all the other nice places in Dublin. The room was very clean and quiet and the staff was extremely helpful and kind.
Iveagh Garden Hotel is in a great location - walking distance to St. Stephen's Green, Grafton Street, & Trinity College! Room was well-appointed & comfortable and staff was excellent! We had a wonderful experience at the hotel and excellent start to our travels in Ireland!
Lovely hotel situated a good 30 minutes walk away from Dublin city centre. Very nice rooms, albeit a little small, but clean and with high-quality furnishing.
Staff was friendly and courteous and coffee and water was available in the lobby at any time for free.
Fantastic room, amazing bath and shower, really nice breakfast , staff where so kind and helpful got complementary breakfast the best hotel I've stayed at in Ireland had the junior suite definitely worth the extra money especially for special occasions
This was our last stop on a 10 day trip to Ireland. The hotel provides so many special amenities. Really convenient and fun base for touring Dublin. Staff gets extra points for help they gave me when I needed to extend our stay.
Stayed for a night in Dublin, decided upon this hotel as it was close to the city centre which is extremely handy. The room was an appropriate size with ensuite shower and shower wash . Very reasonably priced, highly recommend!
It was very quiet at night, even though the hotel is close to a busy road.
It's about 30 minute walk into Dublin city centre, but there are loads of buses as well, transport links to the airport are good too.
