The stay & food was lovely ..Emma at reception & serving in restaurant was extremely helpful .. only negative report I have is we paid our bill for room nite before …nxt morning we left keys at reception as no one there sign saying leave ur keys here only to be rang by Colm ? 40 mins later to say we hadn’t paid our bill then continued to blame another member staff for the mistake he should checked out facts first before he rang us v disappointed just about got an apology from him

Kincasslagh is a tiny hamlet north of Dungloe.
Kincasslagh is a tiny hamlet north of Dungloe. The walk to Kincasslagh Pier is relaxing and lovely. It's a nice place to stay and get away from it all, but I'd recommend having a car, as bus service is limited, and local services are minimal (one small market, and pub that's often closed).

This family run hotel is a hidden gem for anyone who likes to feel at home straight away. The relaxed atmosphere in the place and the very friendly owner Pauline and her staff made our stay there very special.
Would definitely go back when covid restrictions are lifted so that we could get to meet all the locals

Lovely place, a good base to explore Donegal.
Lovely place, a good base to explore Donegal. It was a shame the pub was closed during our trip. Good for long walks and exploring Donegal. Do visit the Slieve League Cliffs and Glenveagh National Park. The castle is lovely with a great garden. If you can, bring your bikes. Arranmore Island is a lovely day out but on a nice day,not when the weather is bad.

Beautiful little village, huge choice of beaches and also has options for sea fishing trips. Not too far from Dungloe if you need a supermarket, and the Chinese takeaway in nearby Annagry is fantastic.
This place is a gem. We hadn't planned on staying in northwest Ireland, but found we had an extra day in our itinerary and booked the Viking House for a change of landscape after being in Northern Ireland. This location is gorgeous, and it's as quiet and relaxed as can be. The hotel itself is quirky and wonderful, and we loved chatting with the staff (they had great recommendations for places to visit on our way out of town). Our only complaint is that we didn't have more time to spend in the area.
Small coves, sandy beaches, abundant wild flowers, heather, small lakes, lots to discover. Breda the hostess was lovely. The apartment was well equiped and spacious. We were welcomed with a real fire and a bottle of wine There was a small shop very close and walks to interesting coast. The local hotel did excellent food and had lovely views. We used the apartment as a touring base and enjoyed the week immensely.
Charming hotel in a superb location. What stood out for us was the hospitality provided by the staff. All of them were super friendly, ensured that we were happy with everything and even helped us plan our trip too. The food was fantastic, our room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. We definitely recommend a stay here.
If you want a family getaway away from the city madness and a warm welcome Kincasslagh is the place to go. The place was spotless and really cozy. We got in and it was nice and crispy. Breeda and Joe went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We will certainly go back and definitely recommend.
The location is perfect for exploring the area; some amazing beaches near-by, and if you follow the Wild Atlantic Way signs, some spectacular view points. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. Check in was efficient and check out equally straightforward. The whole place was spotlessly clean.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was lovely. The hotel itself is situated in a beautiful spot facing a rugged beach. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone considering touring Donegal.
Well equiped apartment. Very nicely decorated had everything we required as a family if five. Good shower, comfy beds. Lovely balcony. Nestled in an idyllic village. Plenty to explore and short walk to beach. Will be coming back.
it’s right in the coast. On a good day the beach is close by, and although we didn’t get to the golf course, it looked unreal. The owner was very personable. She was helpful with tips about the area.
Kincasslagh is absolutely beautiful. It's not at all what I had in mind when I booked it, but it took me by surprise in the best way possible. Breda is a lovely lady and was more than helpful.
Staff were exceptional, especially Emma who looked after us like family. A credit to the hotel. Food, facilities, room and location all top top drawer.
