We were only travelling through so only stayed for one night, we had room service which was sadly a bit poor, as we didn't eat out I can't comment on restaurants.
Loved the Donkey Sanctuary which is close by in Liscarol, well worth a visit.

Staff were friendly, our room was nice and the food at the hotel was nice.
A little more attention to detail needed in the room and some minor housekeeping observations in the bar/service areas. Service at dinner in the bar was slow but didn’t put us off eating.

I really liked the look of the town of Charleville. I didn't have time enough to explore the town properly or visit the Church or shops. Would definitely go again. I ate in the little cafe beside Supervalu on arrival. It was lovely. Fast service, fresh food and friendly staff.

The leisure facilities are excellent and has everything you need from relaxing to working out. However while the room was fine, the executive family room wasn't what I thought it would be. My teenage son and his friend were sharing with us but there was no door between our rooms, so no one had any privacy. But everything else was fine. Staff were lovely, but night manager Johnny is one in a million, thanks for everything Johnny.

Charleville is a great base for touring around this area of north Cork. Lovely countryside close by for you to explore whether your interest is exploring medieval ruins, mountain biking or catching up with your Irish family in one of the many quaint and cosy local pubs. Great atmosphere with good food and drinks.
We had an enjoyable one night stay in a warm, quiet, comfortable room, which was front facing but with limited traffic noise. We did not book breakfast but had dinner in the pub at the hotel. It's a bit devoid of atmosphere and a bit disorganised but the staff were helpful and made our stay pleasant. The receptionist was lovely.
It’s not my first stay in this hotel. We stayed on the 1 floor with courtyard view. It wasn’t a-warm day , but the room was roasting warm , windows are barely can be opened. We had bad night sleep . Next time I’ll request high floor room . Breakfast in bed 5euro and good quality .
I liked the hotel itself, the layout is very well done. Easy to find restaurants etc. The staff were very very welcoming amd friendly, also such great help. Breakfast and dinner was exceptional. I will definitely be staying here again. The room was fabulous! Thanks again.
The location of the hotel was ideal for me, parking area massive and even though very busy i always found a place to park. the reception area and the gym/pool are really nice and welcoming. The room was a large size.
Very clean rooms with towels etc changed daily. Very friendly staff, great food. Although this was a business trip, we would like to go back to explore the facilities of the hotel and the country a bit more.
