Beautiful town great book store and mighty craic. Nightly traditional music and good food. Their post office is still operating which can't be said for many towns it's size and minutes away from Carrickfinn Donegal Airport a great link to Dublin for flights to other countries.

Anagaire is the hub of the Rosses Gaeltacht.
Anagaire is the hub of the Rosses Gaeltacht. Facilities, services and accommodation is readily available and the locals are extremely friendly and welcoming. If you are planning a trip to Northwest Donegal, Anagaire is a must. Sharkey’s has the best guinness, Caisleáin Óir has amazing value for money food and Danny Minnie’s is as close to Michelin star food & service as you’ll get.

The staff were very kind and were able to fulfil all of our needs. We didn't book in for dinner and when we arrived there was only one available table at the time at the entrance of the reception/lobby area and it was very cold as the doors were kept open but after we placed our order, one of the staff approached us and offered us another table away from the doors.
