We enjoyed a 2 night stay in Renvyle House for my husband's 60th birthday..From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and comfortable in the beautiful surroundings despite the rain showers. We enjoyed the delicious 5 course meal on the first night and the staff were so nice, they even sang Happy Birthday and presented a small cake with a candle to my hubby..The second night we had the bar menu and that was also delicious. We will be back again for sure, thank you Renvyle House staff.

This village is too remote with no cafes/restaurants or taxi service. It used to have cafe and taxis but not any more. It has a good petrol station and shop. We travelled to Letterfrack/Clifden/Roundstone and Cleggan beaches incredible food lovely would definitely stay in 1 of these villages in future.

Very quiet and peaceful area. Hiking is spectacular .
Very quiet and peaceful area. Hiking is spectacular . Easy to drive around the area , roads are narrow and drive on the left , but the country roads are quiet , more sheep than anything on them ! And always give way to sheep :) Everyone was friendly and helpful . Loved this beautiful area and exploring Connemara National Park.

Renvyle beach is one of my favourites in Ireland.
Renvyle beach is one of my favourites in Ireland. Due to its remote location in Connemara it's never going to be crowded, so it's a very peaceful, scenic place to spend time there. If the weather is good, try it!

NOTHING COULD BE BETTER, WE ENJOYED OUR STAY THERE WAS NOTHING I COULD SAY HERE TO CONVINCE YOU, YOU HAVE TO STAY HERE AND DISCOVER FOR YOURSELF THE WONDERFUL LOCACTION, FINE FOOD AND WONDERFUL VIEWS INSIDE AND OUT.
tony and wife were very nice and friendly. the property was in a beautiful setting in a very small village in their house. the room was large with 2 comfortable chairs and the hosts were very accommodating with water and little treats. the breakfast was included, very good, and plentiful with lots of options. dinner at the hotel was very good too. basically the village is a small pub, hotel and not much else open. quaint pretty setting. Connemara area is beautiful and if weather permits much outside to do and see.
The Maol Reidh Hotel is a lovely, old, roadside hotel with tremendous charm and delightful staff. We found Terry, the proprietor, to be especially entertaining. Both dinner and breakfast at the hotel were delicious, well prepared, and of generous proportions. Located in Tullycross, the Maol Reidh hotel is a wonderful location from which to explore the countryside and beaches of the region. * I liked the thatched-roofed cottages with their red doors across the street very much.
As a last minute booking given it’s location to Connemara National Park, I can honestly say that this is one of the top places that I have stayed in Ireland. lt shines brightly over many 5 star hotels around the country. it’s location with so many amenities on its doorstep, for residents only, makes it an ideal getaway. From what I could see it is solo, couple, family and pet friendly. Staff were superb and food equally as pleasing.
What is there not to like about Renvyle. Firstly the location is incredible, close to the Atlantic Way and in the most scenic part of Connemeara. The hotel is excellent with comfy clean rooms , excellent food and drink and incredible staff. The whole experience from start to end is super and no request is too much for the management and staff to deal with. We had both bar food and ate in the Restaurant and both are excellent.
Nice self catering small house. All facilities advertised were there. everything was spotlessly clean. There was a nice view. Its a short 1 minute walk into Tullycross, where there is a hotel, bars, and a takeaway, but no shops. There were horses in the field across the road, which were fun to watch.
I am rating because Booking keeps asking me. We did not end up staying in the Hut, but in the owners Hotel Moah Reidh. The Hut had a heating issue so the owner kindly put us in his hotel. SUPER nice guy, great sense of humor...we really enjoyed our stay.
Tony, who also manages the nearby hotel, is a very welcoming and careful host. The place is quiet and localized in one of the nicest areas in the Connemara, with some points of interest within a few tens kilometers around. A delightul one night stop.
Stunning location in Connemara. Close to two beautiful beaches. House was spotless and so comfortable. The view of Lough Fee from the house is breathtaking. Bathrooms in the house are like new, hotel standard. We will be back to stay again.
We loved the home cooked meals that were served with so much individual attention by our hosts. The location near the beach and an easy drive to Kylemore Abbey and Connemara National Park we’re perfect for us.
We were right by the water and had a ocean view. We could walk to the ocean from the B&B. The room was spacious. Monica was great and fun to talk to. Very quiet. Short drive to the town of Renvyle for dinner.
Absolutely priceless location, we were lucky enough to be there on a sunny, hot week. Without doubt the most stunning view we have had from a hotel. Very homely, welcoming and cosy place to stay, thank you.
Outstanding views of the bay, the mountains, and ruined Renvyle Castle (right next door). Very helpful hosts made dinner reservations for us and also--a huge bonus--did a load of laundry for us.
