We enjoyed a 2 night stay in Renvyle House for my husband's 60th birthday..From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and comfortable in the beautiful surroundings despite the rain showers. We enjoyed the delicious 5 course meal on the first night and the staff were so nice, they even sang Happy Birthday and presented a small cake with a candle to my hubby..The second night we had the bar menu and that was also delicious. We will be back again for sure, thank you Renvyle House staff.

This village is too remote with no cafes/restaurants or taxi service. It used to have cafe and taxis but not any more. It has a good petrol station and shop. We travelled to Letterfrack/Clifden/Roundstone and Cleggan beaches incredible food lovely would definitely stay in 1 of these villages in future.

Very quiet and peaceful area. Hiking is spectacular .
Very quiet and peaceful area. Hiking is spectacular . Easy to drive around the area , roads are narrow and drive on the left , but the country roads are quiet , more sheep than anything on them ! And always give way to sheep :) Everyone was friendly and helpful . Loved this beautiful area and exploring Connemara National Park.

Renvyle beach is one of my favourites in Ireland.
Renvyle beach is one of my favourites in Ireland. Due to its remote location in Connemara it's never going to be crowded, so it's a very peaceful, scenic place to spend time there. If the weather is good, try it!

NOTHING COULD BE BETTER, WE ENJOYED OUR STAY THERE WAS NOTHING I COULD SAY HERE TO CONVINCE YOU, YOU HAVE TO STAY HERE AND DISCOVER FOR YOURSELF THE WONDERFUL LOCACTION, FINE FOOD AND WONDERFUL VIEWS INSIDE AND OUT.
AnnMarie and her team are incredible nothing is too much trouble for them, everyone's stay is made to feel so personal. No TV's in the peaceful lounge area beautiful conservatory to sit in and hear the waves or splashes from the heated outdoor pool yes I said POOL
The food is a highlight in Renvyle The Rusheenduff restaurant here cooks incredible fresh locally sourced food. Barfood is equally delicious and The Afternoon Tea is to die for. For the foodies looking for rest, relaxation and great food Renvyle is for you !
tony and wife were very nice and friendly. the property was in a beautiful setting in a very small village in their house. the room was large with 2 comfortable chairs and the hosts were very accommodating with water and little treats. the breakfast was included, very good, and plentiful with lots of options. dinner at the hotel was very good too. basically the village is a small pub, hotel and not much else open. quaint pretty setting. Connemara area is beautiful and if weather permits much outside to do and see.
The Maol Reidh Hotel is a lovely, old, roadside hotel with tremendous charm and delightful staff. We found Terry, the proprietor, to be especially entertaining. Both dinner and breakfast at the hotel were delicious, well prepared, and of generous proportions. Located in Tullycross, the Maol Reidh hotel is a wonderful location from which to explore the countryside and beaches of the region. * I liked the thatched-roofed cottages with their red doors across the street very much.
Absolutely everything! Spotless! Very high quality bed, bedding, like a 5 star hotel! Tony & Geraldine we're so welcoming. Breakfast was over in the hotel and was absolutely beautiful- compliments to the chef! Id two 13yr old twins! They loved pancakes, omelette and we had porridge and scrambled eggs! We had meal & drinks in the hotel- absolutely 💯. Plus, the location is absolutely beautiful- Glassilaun beach is the best in this country! Just loved our visit and we will be back!
The hotel has lots of little nooks that you can slip into. At one stage people started signing in the bar and it was nice to be able to go elsewhere so that we could chat without us disturbing them and them disturbing us. The location was remote which suited us perfectly. There were some great locations close by for walking and eating but you needed a car to get to them - we did not eat in the hotel as we wanted to check out food in various locations on the Wild Atlantic Way.
What is there not to like about Renvyle. Firstly the location is incredible, close to the Atlantic Way and in the most scenic part of Connemeara. The hotel is excellent with comfy clean rooms , excellent food and drink and incredible staff. The whole experience from start to end is super and no request is too much for the management and staff to deal with. We had both bar food and ate in the Restaurant and both are excellent.
Roisin and Samantha were such excellent and caring hosts. THe morning breakfast was substantial and served in a dining room boasting of a magnificent view of the sea and mountains. Oh, and to be so up close to the Renvyle Castle ruins was amazing. I loved my 3 nights there.
I am rating because Booking keeps asking me. We did not end up staying in the Hut, but in the owners Hotel Moah Reidh. The Hut had a heating issue so the owner kindly put us in his hotel. SUPER nice guy, great sense of humor...we really enjoyed our stay.
Breakfast was delicious, hot and cold breakfast buffet.
Location is a short walk to the coast on a dead end road. Very private beautiful country setting. Only a 10 minute drive from Connemara National Park!
Our host was very warm and friendly.
Stunning location in Connemara. Close to two beautiful beaches. House was spotless and so comfortable. The view of Lough Fee from the house is breathtaking. Bathrooms in the house are like new, hotel standard. We will be back to stay again.
Due to an issue with a water leak, we were unable to stay in the accommodation we had booked. Helpfully, the host also owned a local 3* hotel just up the road and he arranged for us to have a room there and included breakfast !
We loved the home cooked meals that were served with so much individual attention by our hosts. The location near the beach and an easy drive to Kylemore Abbey and Connemara National Park we’re perfect for us.
We were right by the water and had a ocean view. We could walk to the ocean from the B&B. The room was spacious. Monica was great and fun to talk to. Very quiet. Short drive to the town of Renvyle for dinner.
Outstanding views of the bay, the mountains, and ruined Renvyle Castle (right next door). Very helpful hosts made dinner reservations for us and also--a huge bonus--did a load of laundry for us.
Service was incredible - nothing was too much trouble and the hotel took great care of my elderly mother, securing a ground floor room for her. Food was outstanding.
