We really can't say enough good things about this house. Literally located in the centre of Oldcastle, close to everything you want to see in this hidden gem of a town. The house itself is modern, spotless, with everything you need. We cooked our dinner in the brand new kitchen, which has a coffee machine as well. The living room area has a TV with Netflix, YouTube etc, and the most comfortable sofa you can imagine. The bedroom was pure luxury, and the bathroom had products you'd be happy to find in a really good hotel. Basically this house is like a really nice hotel room, except it's a whole house. Can't wait to go back soon. 👏😀

Country side ! Fresh air , nice views, nice people , very friendly ! Quiet , relax ! What more do you want ! It's the country side ! Peaceful! Need a car to go eat out or call the local taxies! Great location overlooking beautiful Lough Sheelin. Nice 9 hole par 3 golf on site. Had a great day fishing on the Lough. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Would be a fab wedding location. Restaurant closes relatively early and no other options for food nearby so just be aware of that. We will definitely go back!

The best part was the friendliness and genuine kindness of every single member of staff. It was like a home from home. Breakfast was excellent and the kids were able to order pancakes. Dinner was delicious with great choice and excellent service. The room was vey comfortable with a great view. The location was stunning.

This really made a great impression on us and we noticed he made the effort to make all guests feel very welcome. The breakfast was very good and we dined in the bistro restaurant which was also very nice. The surrounding grounds were beautiful and we'll be back for sure to experience the hotel in the summer.
