Central Station House is a lovely hotel. Wonderful staff, so friendly and accommodating. Buffet breakfast is exceptional and they are happy to make something off menu. Perfect location to walk to town center, pubs and restaurants. Signal restaurant in hotel is also great with varied menu, good pints and live music. Great value.

Breakfast both mornings of our 2 night stay was lovely. Full Irish well cooked, plenty of tea and toast/coffee and cereals etc. Servers were friendly and polite and service was prompt.
The hotel is excellently located in the town centre of Clifden and public car parking is available on the street outside and is free between 7pm and 9am.
Rooms are basic but shower pressure was good.

Room was clean and warm. Kitchen was well-equipped with cooking and cleaning reagents and I also found tea bags there, which was much appreciated.

The hostess made wonderful efforts to accommodate my early arrival and allow me time to recover from jet lag and a cold.

Very beautiful location and view! Host was very nice and accommodating, good about giving great directions to this B & B due to it being a bit remote. The breakfast was very good with many options. Plenty of parking.
Very nice area, remote and tranquil, perfect to disconnect...
Very nice area, remote and tranquil, perfect to disconnect from the urban hum. A variety of beaches with short distance.
Also perfect for stargazing, It has one of the darkest, free of light pollution skies in Ireland, Bortle 2!

I loved the pace of life very calm & as roads are seriously narrow it slows you right down and gives you plenty of time to enjoy the views . The land is rough & raw with lots of inlets and coves & a coral beach , Clifden is close by and lots of art gallery’s coffee houses & lots of sit out areas
For me what makes Kilronan special was the location to Keogh's and it's superb seafood on your doorstep !
Also the house itself looked at on a beautiful lake and each room was full of light.
Sands hotel and the coral beaches are very close , both prime spots to go in the area.
Lastly the host really wants feedback and acts upon your suggestions so as to make it an even better house for the next guest .
Located right on the main road between Roundstone and Ballyconneely, this lovely cottage is a great base for exploring Connemara. The house is modern, clean and well maintained. We stayed in winter and it was warm, dry and cosy. It could easily accommodate larger families or groups. It’s a ten minute walk to the nearest town (Ballyconneely) but in a car everything is easily accessible.
