Room was extremely dark, even with lights on. Central light in room not working.
Not great for getting ready to leave for a sons wedding in another location. Son who was the groom was in room next door and lighting very poor also. Pulled back all curtains but then others outside could see in.

So much to do in the area.
So much to do in the area. I loved the scenic drives and historic buildings. Shame you have to book online for some things. Not everyone has this facility. Also some places have stopped taking cash and a lot of people still want to pay cash for things.

The town is quite small and compact and has a selection of shops, bars and restaurants. When we were there it was packed with young kids and youths (late afternoon/early evening). Not sure if this is a regular thing. You can get a direct bus from Dublin

Well, it's my home town, so what can I say? I wish I'd never left it. The amenities and general have greatly improved over the last 55 years, but then the town has also got bigger - from 5,000 population to over 30,000.

Unfortunately we only had one night's stay. Great shopping Centre with lots of shops to browse around. Plenty places to eat out. Plenty Bars and we had dancing in the Bar of the Ardboyne Hotel which was very close to The Yellow House B&B where we stayed. Really enjoyed our night out in Navan and it was great to get around walking all the time we were there and not have to get Taxi's.

Navan is great place.
Navan is great place. We visited the Gaylord & Indian Vibes restaurants both excellent. We would highly recommend Ryans Bar amazing landlord and staff and great freshly cooked food. The Royal Meath is also another great bar with live Irish music.
Location includes beautiful areas for a relaxing walk, including a small garden-like area with follies. Zoe was responsive to inquiries with useful information to help us plan.
Be sure to start your day off right with a walk to the tearoom for breakfast. If you can, visit the ruins of Bective Abbey just a few miles away. If you want good food and a pint in downtown Navan, try The Central.
Navan is not so close to Brú na Bóinne as Drogheda, but the drive from Navan is scenic and really doesn't take very long, so if you have motor...
Good choice of food for breakfast every morning. My room was a nice size and at the back of the house. I had good nights sleep. Nice view of the River Boyne from the balcony of my room. The ensuite bathroom was well equiped and well maintained. Michael and Sheila are great hosts. The negative reviews don't do this place justice. It's nicely priced - if booked far enough in advance - and it's just a 3 minute walk from the lovely Ardboyne Hotel across the road.
Location Quality Privicy Facilities was perfect. I Recommend to stay any one who want a little quiet and peacfull time away from noisy streets or noisy hotels. Sleep time was perfect very quiet sorrounding love it. Kitchen anex oven microoven fridge nice table set to have some meal etc very good plan space. Access to property everything nicely done i didnt have to gk sign anything to reception all done online so very toptoptop place for staying
I would like to thank the wonderful staff, Cristina, Sean, and Christina, for all their attention. I would especially like to thank Ludmila for all her attention. Ludmila, you do everything to make everyone feel special at the hotel. You really do the extra mile. Thank you so much for all your attention! Vera Arbon
Great location near Navan quiet and close enough to shop for groceries, gas or anything else we wanted. The cottage was very comfortable and suited our family of four perfectly! Our teenage kids loved the house and we are looking forward to visit again in the future. Next time I will schedule a Spa treatment!
Overall the hotel was clean and well maintained. The room was small but worked for the 3 family members. The common dining area and living room were a nice benefit to offset the smaller size of the room. The breakfast was great and service excellent.
Lovely couple leads this hotel, the breakfast was really nice (I recommend the continental one) and the rooms are very comfortable. The center of Navan is easy to reach by foot and Dublin airport is only 35 min away by car
The stud was fabulous as was the lodge accomodation. It was very well positioned for exploring the Navan area. It is a wonderful environment and the horses looked beautiful and content in their surroundings.
Great location, only 10 min walk from Navan town centre, very welcoming hosts, very clean guest house, ample car parking, very good breakfast. Very close to miles of beautiful walks along the Boyne river
Have been several times before because it’s a lovely, albeit run down, house hotel… with lots of character and potential (that sadly didn’t transpire on this visit)
And the rooms/beds are lovely
The breakfast I had was a veggie one. It was filling. The location suited to our requirement as the function we attended was 5 minutes taxi ride. Also, it was closer to the Navan town centre
Fantastic location. 30 minutes from Tayto Park. The apartment was spotless and so comfortable. Nice quiet location. Can get food delivery from Navan. Will definitely stay here again!
Location was perfect for travelling around the Boyne Valley and was also nice and quiet. In easy reach of Navan for essential shopping. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.
great location, close to all the shops so there was no driving to them all in walking distance. food was lovely i would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.
The owners were delightful! We arrived early afternoon and they allowed us to check-in as well as giving us directions for dinner and the walk downtown.
