My brother & I were there for a funeral.
My brother & I were there for a funeral.
My purse was 'lifted' from the room 208 whilst I was at a funeral. We had checked out - just before funeral mass - and when I realised that the purse should still have been in the drawer in the room (after cleaner had been in) I telephoned. I was told - no purse. Shocked I asked if I could check. Sure enough drawer still contained the bagged hairdryer whose position had changed (now centre of drawer) but Mulberry purse had 'disappeared'
My parents loved this hotel. So disappointing

Lovely setting close drive to salt hill and Galway but in a lovely quiet area. A good selection of restaurants in the near vicinity (not walking distance ) and a very nice craft village only a few mins drive from the hotel

This accommodation is excellent.
This accommodation is excellent. Location is stunning, room was as shown on the website, very clean and view from room was a bonus. Having restaurant and bar facilities on site was a plus since we did not need to travel out for dinner. Would definately recommend it for a short visit and plan to return in the future.

Ideal for children with the proximity of the beach.
Ideal for children with the proximity of the beach. Excellent lunch and dinners. We didn't go anywhere else in Furbo. On our next visit we would make contingency plans for alternative activities in case of rain.
The location is superb - right beside the Furbo beach. We booked the family room which had amaaazing views, lovely furnishings and nice soft carpet, coffee/tea and biscuits and even 4 bottles of water and mini toiletries, which I did not expect in the B&B. This room is more like a boutique hotel room. The food in downstairs restaurant was top class and we also liked the breakfast. The staff was very friendly and efficient and nothing was a problem to them. We will definitely be back again! Thank you!
I've stayed in this hotel before, and the rooms and public areas have been renovated since my last visit.
Public areas are lovely.I stayed in one of the bedrooms that start with the number 2 and I found it soulless. It's all grey, all different shades of grey except the white sheets. It needs a colourful throw on the bed or colourful cushions to lift the room. I would not want to stay in this soulless room again.
Super midweek price Inc breaky! We arrived early to use the pool and we're checked in early by reception who were super friendly. The hotel and leisure facilities were spotless. The hotel is not new but the decor was modernised and felt fresh and cosy. This is a gem of a hotel only 25 mins from the city centre with breathtaking views of the coast an ideal spot to take in all galway has to offer.
Very friendly staff. Great location out of town and very comfy bed. There was a small fan & very clean room. Lovely bar and restaurant downstairs that does a selection of fresh sea food & meat dishes. Plenty of parking on the cove and at the hotel itself. Very good breakfast with a good choice for hot food including pancakes or Irish breakfast etc and cereals, fruits and yogurt.
The hotel is beautifully situated , our room was spacious with comfortable bed and the side sea-view. Breakfast was really good and there was a lot to choose from - gluten and dairy free option was also available. The staff was friendly , helpful and really doing their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible despite some covid restrictions still in place.
Fantastic view of the beach. Easy access to several beaches. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Provide bottled water. Daily room clean up. Very friendly staff. Great restaurant. Hot breakfast with many options included. Lots of parking. Windows open fully to let in wonderful breeze and view. Guests from around the world. 25 - 40 minutes from Galway.
The view in the room was spectacular. Room wasn't very modern but was very clean. We had a fabulous breakfast two days in a row and also bar food on one evening . We left the car in the car park on Saturday and got the regular bus service from outside the door of the hotel to Galway return. It was a great convenience and quite reasonable
Nice location right near a beautiful beach. The room was nicely decorated and bed very comfortable. Ocean view
There is a bit of traffic noise. Good food at the attached restaurant.
Mora was so helpful and always with a smile. Good location to either Galway or Rosseveel to catch the ferry to Inishmoor. Would recommend this place
we stayed two nights, and the room was very comfortable as it was my husband and and our son. The view was breathtaking. My son watched the sunset over Galway Bay. It was his first trip to Ireland. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms are clean and the beds were very comfortable.
breakfast fabulous and my room was lovely comfy beds , the restaurant was little disappointing for the prices to be honest .
The wine order was over twenty euros more than in the bar and this was not a good reflection on the hotel .
The staff were excellent .
Stayed for a friends wedding, what a stunning location! All staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful, the room was perfect, food and drinks were great. The location and views make this such a special hotel!
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was fantastic - bed was comfortable and the view was fabulous. The location of the hotel is ideal. Would definitely stay here again.
Lovely hotel in the most beautiful location possible. Couldn't really rate it high enough. I will certainly be back. Staff are excellent without being over fussy and annoying.
A lovely hotel, views were fantastic, staff very polite and friendly. Cleanliness was 100%. Food was lovely in tge bar and Breakfast was very satisfying.
