The location was right where we needed to be. Very clean and quiet. Kathleen was a great host. She had a great wit and made the stay enjoyable. Also gave good recommendations on where to eat. Breakfast was perfect.

Firstly, the host was very welcoming and friendly. She wanted to ensure we had a good stay and served up a delicious breakfast for us in the morning. Not only that, she made us tea and toast in the evening and we were able to relax in the lounge and enjoy some TV after a busy day. The room was comfortable and the breakfast room was very tidy and clean.

Very nice hotel,a high standard of accommodation ,our bedroom was perfect and very comfortable with all the additional extras,ie;fan iron and ironing board.Ths standard of hygiene throughout the hotel was excellent.Both the reception and dining room staff were brilliant,very friendly and welcoming.

What I liked most was food in the evening. Also the bar man serving breakfast was so friendly and good at his job but he didn't get much help . Waitress in outdoor restaurant was very friendly and attentive too . 10 out of 10 for both

Great location, beautiful hotel tucked away in a lovely little village with lots of history. Food was beautiful for breakfast and dinner. Bar is perfect for cocktails or a match. Hotel staff were quick and efficient!

There was a very high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel and excellent adherence to Covid-19 safety measures. We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant. The staff in the hotel were very welcoming and helpful. There was a lovely choice of options for breakfast. I would definitely love to return to this hotel again in the future.
