I've never been to Tobercurry.
Tubercurry has lots of pubs and the Catholic Church is quite splendid.
I didn't get a chance to go skiing but I'm sure it's wonderful.
Keep driving and you'll be in Sligo before long.

Also able to reach Kylemore Abbey a most beautiful building on the banks of Louch Kylemore. The scenery is spectacular.
After a long drive having a restaurant at Crawley Guesthouse was most welcome for the evening meal.
Was expecting a B&B type establishment, this was more like a small hotel and very nice because of that. It was very busy when we arrived owing to a fair in the town and people taking meals in the restaurant. Nevertheless, the staff were fantastic in checking us in, organising parking etc. There is a nice patio and garden area, and again we were served with our wine very promptly, notwithstanding how busy they were. Breakfast very good. The best thing about the place is most definitely the people and just how friendly they are.
We had a wonderful stay at the Yeats County Hotel with no complaints at all about the accommodation, breakfast or evening meal. The staff are incredibly friendly and very helpful - nothing was too much trouble.
I had heard good things about this hotel before our stay and even though the information had come from guests who had stayed here a good decade ago, the hotel has kept up its high standards and definitely lived up to my expectations. I would recommend it without hesitation and I would certainly stay there again.
A real home from home. Nothing was too much trouble - the staff & owners made what could be a mediocre hotel EXCELLENT.
Food; ample portions, well cooked & delicious - don’t miss out on the full Irish Breakfast, the sausage, black pudding, white pudding & bacon where quality!
Very clean, & every request dealt with immediately & with a smile.
Perfect for Yeats country or visits to Connemara.!
We stayed one night in this family hotel. Everything was perfect : the welcome tray (tea/coffee/biscuit/bottle of water), quality hygiene products, full choice of freshly prepared breakfast. We received a larger room than expected. I highly recommend this place to stay, with very good value for money. Excellent staff and service, helpful and friendly.
Breakfast and location were good. easy to book and check-in was very smooth. The ability to park outside was good too and it was ideal for my stay. Decent location, nearly in Sligo but not too far from Galway.
The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a good selection to choose from. Restaurant menu is reasonably priced. Bar was busy in the evening with traditional music for entertainment.
Location is quite good and staff are very very friendly. TV in the room though was absolutely tiny and shower pressure was very hit and miss but overall not a bad hotel and will certainly stay again.
Hotel was lovely and the staff. No breakfast menu little choice. Had an evening menu and the food was great. No breakfast menu because of covid yet the evening menu was in full swing.
Excellent, well-run hotel in the centre of town. Good food for breakfast and dinner. Off-road parking available at rear. Friendly staff a notable plus.
