Room was extremely dark, even with lights on. Central light in room not working.
Not great for getting ready to leave for a sons wedding in another location. Son who was the groom was in room next door and lighting very poor also. Pulled back all curtains but then others outside could see in.

So much to do in the area.
So much to do in the area. I loved the scenic drives and historic buildings. Shame you have to book online for some things. Not everyone has this facility. Also some places have stopped taking cash and a lot of people still want to pay cash for things.

The town is quite small and compact and has a selection of shops, bars and restaurants. When we were there it was packed with young kids and youths (late afternoon/early evening). Not sure if this is a regular thing. You can get a direct bus from Dublin

Well, it's my home town, so what can I say? I wish I'd never left it. The amenities and general have greatly improved over the last 55 years, but then the town has also got bigger - from 5,000 population to over 30,000.

Unfortunately we only had one night's stay. Great shopping Centre with lots of shops to browse around. Plenty places to eat out. Plenty Bars and we had dancing in the Bar of the Ardboyne Hotel which was very close to The Yellow House B&B where we stayed. Really enjoyed our night out in Navan and it was great to get around walking all the time we were there and not have to get Taxi's.

Navan is great place.
Navan is great place. We visited the Gaylord & Indian Vibes restaurants both excellent. We would highly recommend Ryans Bar amazing landlord and staff and great freshly cooked food. The Royal Meath is also another great bar with live Irish music.
The Groom's Cottage is a special place, an outbuilding on a historic Irish estate that goes back at least to the 17th century, amid a grove of tall trees in the Meath countryside. Hosts were friendly and provided everything we needed, but entirely hands-off. We would have enjoyed staying more than two nights. Location is very central to see the ancient and historic sites of the Boyne Valley. Pubs and restaurants are around 10-15 minutes away in Navan or Johnstown.
Location Quality Privicy Facilities was perfect. I Recommend to stay any one who want a little quiet and peacfull time away from noisy streets or noisy hotels. Sleep time was perfect very quiet sorrounding love it. Kitchen anex oven microoven fridge nice table set to have some meal etc very good plan space. Access to property everything nicely done i didnt have to gk sign anything to reception all done online so very toptoptop place for staying
This is clearly an historic old hotel in the heart of this little town. It is a sprawling rabbit warren of old school charm. It is also a bit dated. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was dated but good hot water and shower. Beds were comfortable. Parking was free and in a garage adjacent. It is just a 20 minute drive to the Neolithic sites of Newgrange/Knowth
Very comfortable beds, nice showers, and a wonderful breakfast. We checked in extremely late due to airport cancellation and flight changes. The hotel was very accommodating and helpful. We didn’t get to do much more than sleep and eat before heading out, but it was perfect.
I got married in a local hotel and needed accommodation for the weekend. The apartment exceeded all expectations. Couldn't fault the apartment in any way. It was spotless and finished to a very high standard. The grounds and gardens are beautiful. Highly recommend!
Cozy and compact, with all you need including laundry room. Ian is wonderful. Convenient to Navan and Brú na Bóinne. If you need a good meal and a pint in Navan, try The Central. If you can, visit the ruins of Bective Abbey a few miles away.
Lovely couple leads this hotel, the breakfast was really nice (I recommend the continental one) and the rooms are very comfortable. The center of Navan is easy to reach by foot and Dublin airport is only 35 min away by car
The apartment is on a farm just outside Navan managed by the Wall family. The family was friendly and informative. The location is close enough to M3 to give easy access to all the Boyne valley sites and to Dublin.
Pat and Pauline were amazing hosts. We felt welcome from the time we arrived, with every attention giving to make our stay exceptional. Highly recommend Athlumney Manor to stay if visiting Navan and County Meath.
The stud was fabulous as was the lodge accomodation. It was very well positioned for exploring the Navan area. It is a wonderful environment and the horses looked beautiful and content in their surroundings.
Location was perfect for travelling around the Boyne Valley and was also nice and quiet. In easy reach of Navan for essential shopping. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.
The rooms were located just next to the main bar &restaurant & very clean &comfortable. It is within walking distance from Navan town. The food was really nice too.
Omg what can I say the food was gorgeous the staff great and best of all the rooms are amazing well done ardboyne hotel my favourite hotel now after this stay
Staff were really lovely, all of them. 10/10 Stayed in the Stables room, which was quirky and done well. Beautiful location and hotel, very comfortable rooms
The owners were delightful! We arrived early afternoon and they allowed us to check-in as well as giving us directions for dinner and the walk downtown.
