This hotel has a lovely feel about with a great view out on to the golf course and Blessington lake. Above the reception is a lovely tranquil area to read a book or just chill out. The room was spotlessly cleaned and has a warm sense to it. The receptionist was so accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us, Mick in the bar was so accommodating and professional and went beyond what he should have done to help us out. Friendly staff. Christian welcomed us and helped us with our bags when moved in to our room. Well appointed room. We stayed in the Carriage Room, more modern amenities. Grounds were beautifully kept and we were blessed with great weather. Dinner experience in the Hermione Restaurant at the Clubhouse was great. The steak we ordered arrived as ordered. At the Castle Bar, had really enjoyable experience with Filip and Glen the two very entertaining and skillful bartenders that was there when we had our evening drinks. Breakfast the next morning was A-La-Carte with multiple choices. Portions were just right for us and my choice of Egg Benedict was done just right. Check out was fast and we all got the experience of staying at a Castle in Ireland!
