The staff was amazing. I was feeling queezy, and Connor went out of his way to get me real ginger for my tea. Caroline, at the front desk, made us feel as if we were being welcomed home. Even the young men helping out around were very attentive. There were many more people who made us feel so welcome. To add to that, the facilities were beautiful and clean.

Edita was very warm and communicative with us from the beginning. The check in process was really smooth and she even helped us get to the wedding we were attending down the road. The space was almost as amazing as she was. I had never stayed in a place like this before and it was great experience. The room was clean and cozy and had everything necessary for a comfortable stay and the breakfast was just what we needed. I would recommend this place to folks who are looking to explore a bit more of the rural side of Ireland. Coming from Dublin for our first two nights, the grass, cabin and pond were magical. We really can't say enough good things about this house. Literally located in the centre of Oldcastle, close to everything you want to see in this hidden gem of a town. The house itself is modern, spotless, with everything you need. We cooked our dinner in the brand new kitchen, which has a coffee machine as well. The living room area has a TV with Netflix, YouTube etc, and the most comfortable sofa you can imagine. The bedroom was pure luxury, and the bathroom had products you'd be happy to find in a really good hotel. Basically this house is like a really nice hotel room, except it's a whole house. Can't wait to go back soon. 👏😀
