Kenmare is a charming, small Irish town.
Kenmare is a charming, small Irish town. We loved walking through the streets with many shops, pubs and restaurants. Both Holy Cross and St. Patrick's churches are worth a visit.
Kenmare is a perfect base for driving the Ring of Kerry and visiting Killarney National Park.
We had a fabulous dinner at The Coachman's pub, sitting outside on a pleasant October evening but there are many other dining options too.

The location was just outside of the the main strip of Kenmare so it was nice and quiet and just a 10 minute walk to town. The host is excellent she was so warm and inviting and she gave me excellent suggestions especially when my travel plans changed because of weather. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options to choose from.
The B and B was very tastefully furnished with a large bedroom in a perfect location. We loved the small town of Kenmare. Breakfast choice was amazing, cooked to order and far exceeds bigger hotels. Lucy and her staff work very hard and we felt very comfortable and would not consider staying anywhere else should we re-visit Kenmare.
Ashfield is a wonderful B&B. Mary the host is very helpful, friendly and great local knowledge. The location is great, the room was beautiful, superbly maintained, the breakfast was incredible. Kenmare is wonderful town to visit and a great place to start the Ring of Kerry.
Went to Kenmare to view some properties for a hiking trip we are planning. This hotel was not one of the properties we were considering. However after spending the night, chatting with the owner Dermott, we decided this was the property we want to use for the trip.

Honestly BEST B&B I've ever stayed in, better than some hotels
Everything was perfect in this hotel.
The bed, the huge breakfast, attention, views, close to the town.
The best experience in Ireland.
I totally recomend this place and I will stay here again.
Spacious accommodations. Perfect location to explore Kenmare. Everything is working walking distance. They have a live band in the evenings. Good food at restaurant. Friendly staff.
Helen’s flats were lovely, homey, comfortable places to stay in an excellent location in downtown Kenmare. We loved all the amenities of the flats and the extra personal touches.
Location was good. 3km to the centre of Kenmare town. It's on a bad road so cannot walk but that wasn't a problem for us. The house itself is private and in a lovely area.
