A very charming village. The people were very friendly.
A very charming village. The people were very friendly. Great pubs and live music (McGann's & McDermott's were the ones we visited). There is a spectacular view of the Cliffs of Moher from the parking lot of the ferry dock; our landlord recommended we go at sunset, and it was amazing! It happened to be high tide and the roaring waves made the scene even more astounding. Of course, the Cliffs are just down the road, and they are one of the best sights in Ireland.

Great music, fun and food.
Great music, fun and food. Excellent quality food in all pubs and hotels.You can walk between pubs but lack of street lights can make this dangerous at night...maybe there could be a store of hivis vests that could be swapped between pubs for those walking.

Doolin is a delightful village. McGann's Pub was great. Delicious food, good music. A quintessential Irish pub. Doolin is convenient for visiting the Cliffs of Mohr and the Burren. I would have gladly stayed a few more days.

Doolin is a cute little town and is a great place to stay for close proximity to the Cliffs of Moher. There isn't much to do in Doolin, so I recommend staying there only to spend the night after visiting the Cliffs that afternoon or before visiting the Cliffs the next morning.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Plenty of restaurants and lovely craft shops. Good atmosphere and traditional Irish music available in the evenings. Beside the sea and a ferry can take you to see the Aran Islands and the cliffs of Moher.AAnonymous

The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed being able to walk from the B&B up to the path that leads to the Cliffs of Moher! We were blessed with a beautiful sunny day with amazing views! Michael suggested a restaurant in town followed by a local pub that played Trad Irish Music. Our stay here was the highlight of our trip to Ireland!

The bed was so comfortable, the breakfast was top notch, location wouldn’t be better and the cherry on top is the incredible hospitality shown by Liam and Maria. They were fantastic hosts and made our stay really enjoyable. We had stayed one night in the Fiddle and Bow hotel up the road, and although it has its merits, I would be choosing Dubhlinn House as my first choice for our next trip back to Doolin.ShannenIreland

It was located in the village of Doolin (on the edge of town) and in walking distance to the restaurants. There was plenty of free onsite parking. We only stayed one night, but if the itinerary allowed, we would have liked to stay another night or two. It was that nice of a place and there was plenty to see and do there. It was also a very quiet and peaceful area.

We enjoyed these views from the comfortable sitting room on the second level as our guest room was on the back side of the house. Our room was comfortable, quiet and well appointed. The dining room is attractive and breakfast was quite good.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. All we had to do was relax and enjoy the location, and the kids loved the free WiFi. The location was very central to all Doolin had to offer, and we walked almost everywhere. Within a 3 minute walk is Pub, Restaurant, Hotel, and loads of other facilities.
