Great location, walking distance to Kees Hotel, ,( food delicious, the team are fantastic and live music at the weekend, its a must during your stay in Stranorlar)short walk into Ballybofey, lovely walk along the River Finn, Drumboe Woods, public transport ( Number 64 bus) will take you to Derry and Galway with plenty of stops in between, for example Donegal Town or Sligo, neighbouring town of Letterkenny The people of Stranorlar are very friendly and helpful !

It's an extremely busy spot with tail backs for commuters, probably needs to be bypassed. A lot of derelict buildings but that can be said for a lot of small towns/villages. Some lovely flower beds planted.

The rooms are fairly standard they have a kettle for tea and coffee our only concern was that the road traffic could be heard in our room otherwise it was a really peaceful atmosphere and a pleasant place to stay would recommend it.

Apart from the comfort and food at Kee's Hotel, a visit to McElhinney's is a must. Friendly staff in this well-stocked store make it hard to walk out empty-handed! And there's plenty of other things to do in and around the town.

Really like lovely comfortable hotel. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly. The room, which was for a single traveler, was just fantastic. I was so impressed. The bed was massive and I had such a brilliant night's sleep. The excellent room rate also included breakfast which was delicious and freshly cooked. A wonderful selection catering for all diets. Can't recommend Kee's hotel enough.

Went at the beginning of December, the hotel was very festive with Christmas decorations, staff wearing Christmas headbands, dinner tables at the restaurant set with Christmas crackers. The staff was fantastic, everyone was attentive and helpful, smiles on their faces all the time. Rooms were comfortable and warm.

It’s a beautiful hotel - very “olde world” but elegant. I had dinner in the restaurant - it was delicious. The manager of the restaurant was lovely - very welcoming - and made sure all the guests were looked after. (Sat Feb 10th) All of the staff that I met with were very friendly and helpful.

Lovely house. Great location, walking distance to anywhere in Ballybofey/Stranorlar and good central location to explore Donegal County from. Free parking spot at rear of house. Spotlessly clean and nice and warm even when temperatures outside had dropped to -8°!

Gorgeous hotel, lots of character - the restaurants food is incredible, absolutely delicious, would highly recommend - the room was very spacious - there's a lovely pub next door called The Snug which serves really nice cocktails for just €9.50
