Ballybunion is one of those small traditional Irish holiday towns. It has not changed much over the years. The main attraction is the beach (if you are not a golfer). There are a few beaches in the town, each has their own unique selling points. The Ladies (perfectly frames between two cliffs), Mens (longer walks) and Nun's beach (only accessible by rope). Each are different. There are a few pubs and restaurants and a gaming arcade which is great for kids.

The beach is well-known and popular.
The beach is well-known and popular. It's not the only local beach but it's good and Ballybunion town is good for tourists with kids. Of course golfers come here too. There are places to snack, souvenir shops and supermarket shopping etc. You don't have to stay right in town as there are plenty of good b&b's a couple of minutes drive away.

A stunning seaside experience.
A stunning seaside experience. Two lovely safe beaches, one with a little surf action. The sun sets directly in front of the castle ruin on the promontory. Typical small village with typical pubs and food options. We stayed at the Marine Hotel which was a little pricey but very good - over the road from beach access and green area. The restaurant there has a good menu with much seafood available. We found it very enjoyable.

One way street system very safe but cumbersome.
One way street system very safe but cumbersome. Parking difficult good value in the car park, 2 euro for the day. Ate in the hotel, the meal was lovely, /cocktails were all 10 euro, pricey but worth it.I was very disappointed with breakfast selection, a full irish with no egg!!!!!
Staff were lovely.
Lovely boutique hotel on Ballybunion seafront. Just a one night stop for myself and partner, but we were very impressed by the work that had been put in to make it modern and cosy. Staff are very friendly, food was decent (had dinner and breakfast). Didn't use the bar or other facilities. Free parking opposite, but make sure to ask at reception to open the gate
The hosts are ready to help with anything. The location is excellent; whether you're enjoying a round of golf in the area, exploring the wild Atlantic way, or simply relaxing for a while. You'll find nice view of golf on the nearby course, exceptional breakfasts, and superior rooms. I will find a reason to return (hopefully soon).
The location is very accessible to the golf course at Ballybunion, indeed, one could easily use this location as a base for a golfing trip to the mid/north Kerry and Clare regions. The breakfast provided a wide variety of choice for the guest. The host was most helpful and accommodating to any requests made by the customer.
Great place to stay, we stayed last yr too, staff are so friendly, amazing food, breakfast is so good, very good choices on menus all presented beautifully.free parking accross the road, beach accross the road.rooms are spotless, comfy beds, bottled water replaced daily, Would recommend and will return.
It is right on the golf course and a walk from the club house.
The location is a very quick drive to Ballybunion which has an amazing beach and cliff walk.
The breakfast was lovely with alot of variety. The hosts were so friendly and chatty and made sure everything was satisfactory.
Beautiful B & B, impeccably maintained. Hostess Ann is absolutely lovely. Breakfast was delicious, many options and served in a beautiful sunroom. Love the location looking out to the ocean. Rooms large and comfortable. Would definitely go again, both to the town and this B&B
The room was good value for money within walking distance of beach and town staff were brilliant and were very helpful room was spotless everything that you could want would highly recommend this to anybody who is staying in ballybunion
The location to town was great. Right at the end of the Main Street, steps from restaurants and bars, and across the street from the castle ruins and beach access. We stay in the top room facing out which had lovely views.
Breakfast was lovely and location is good with golf course on door step if that’s what you like and just 5min drive to centre but all within walking distance also with beach about 10-15min walk
the property is outside of Ballybunion but right across the street from the gold course…our room actually overlooked it. the room was beautiful and Deidre was very kind
