This friendly hotel has lovely views of the sea and estuary and offers well-priced food. It is a good base for visits to Waterford, Cashel, Cork, and Cobh.

This place is a little gem! From the beautifully decorated room, fabulous four poster bed which i kid you not was how I imagine it would be to sleep on a cloud! To the wonderful self service breakfast area within the room which made great use of the space but wait there is more...warm croissants being discreetly hung on the door in the morning made this the best place we have stayed in a very long time
From the fantastic communication to the cute doggy welcome, we will return for more of this scrumptious comfort
Thank you

The accommodation was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The location was perfect with amazing sea views.
Youghal is located at a river estuary. It has a history - we stayed at the Sir Walter Raleigh hotel - and a number of historic buildings in town and on the water front. We stayed overnight. I had a long, interesting, exploratory trip along the boardwalk along a wide, blue flag beach. It’s a destination for family holidays, it’s well worth a stop on a trip along the south coast of Ireland.
Fabulous unspoilt seaside resort. Charming friendly people. Magnificent sunsets & beaches galore. Easy walking around town and along the promenade/strand. Bertie’s pub for great Guinness & atmosphere even on rainy afternoon.
Clancy’s for great food & service.

I love Youghal.
I love Youghal. I have been visiting and sometimes staying there for years. For a seaside resort I find it very peaceful. Plenty of places to eat and everyone has been very friendly. Clancy's is probably my most favourite bat/restaurant. Good value for money.

Youghal was a lovely town with lots of independent shops, cafes and pubs. Signs indicate that a parking disk is required but the Tourist Board told us when we were there that parking was free everywhere. Would be sensible to check if this is still the case.

Youghal is a lovely friendly seaside town.
Youghal is a lovely friendly seaside town. The newly extended boardwalk makes for a scenic walk. There is a long beach with some great views all year long. Had breakfast in a little cafe named 'Sage'. Had a full Irish breakfast for €10. I could not recommend this cafe more.

Youghal is a busy town, lots of shops and places to eat.lovely to walk around and sit looking out at the sea. Was sad to see that a no. of shops are closing down, obviously the result of COVID 19. Smashing little cinema there too.
Having stayed at many hotels in Ireland and across the world, I was seriously impressed with the Walter Raleigh Hotel. Upon arrival, we were made felt very welcome by the staff, a home from home. The cleanliness of the property was very impressive. A complimentary fresh homemade scone and tea was a very nice touch offered. The food for both dinner and breakfast was delicious. Could not recommend this hotel enough.
Roseville is a lovely and spacious place in a quiet yet central location in Youghal. Caroline & Richie have gone to great lengths to make it comfortable and cosy. It’s spotlessly clean and there are so many nice touches, especially the absolutely terrific breakfast basket they presented us. A very thoughtful touch and very delicious.
I would heartily recommend you stay here.
Lovely B&B !!
The rooms have been done up recently and look lovely. It has new changing fixtures with is very handy.
Wonderful host, so kind and gave lots of local information that was very helpful about Youghal and surrounding areas in Cork.
The breakfast was lovely and had very good choices.
The view from the front of the property is beautiful and has good parking.
What a beautiful place! The room is spacious, clean and welcoming. The breakfast is gorgeous... Everything is fresh and yummy. You definitely do not go hungry after that.
Mary and John are helpful, polite and make you very welcome.
It is perfectly situated;close to the sea and the town.
I am definitely keeping this address for all our family stays in youghal.
The view was amazing, the property was very close to town, and everything was extremely clean and comfortable. Barbara is an excellent cook and had great recommendations for dining as well as where to listen to traditional music ("The Nook"). I would highly recommend this property, as well as the town of Youghal, for those visiting this area of Ireland.
This is a wonderfully run bed and breakfast. Both property owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful! I look forward to coming back and staying again! John was amazingly generous with his time, as I didn't have a car to get from the center of Youghal to Ardsallagh, but he was super helpful and helped me get to where I needed.
Avonmore House is ideally located in the centre of Youghal. Owners John and Mary were exceptional hosts. Their attention to detail and knowledge of the local area was brilliant. Our room was clean and comfortable and was a good size. Breakfast was just lovely, all cooked fresh by John.
Very tastefully restored hotel corridor and rooms into a quirky and delightful living space with great view of the sea. Colman and Jay has parking space kept for our bikes outside the front door. Great pub and restaurant across the street but do book if you want to eat on arrival .
Excellent location in centre of town. Staff friendly and helpful and enjoyed dinner in the bar. Although parking not available on-site free car park very close by. Youghal town lovely to stroll around with tea rooms and bars and some interesting shops.
The location of the property couldn't be better. The town of Youghal with all of it's shops and restaurants is an easy walk in one direction and the beach is right outside your door in the other direction.
Location was good as it was near Youghal for the Ironman. Breakfast wasnt included but the host did leave some porridge and teas for us. The beds were good and the room itself was big.
Location was ideal to visit Youghal and Cork. House was equipped with basic items such as dishwasher tablets and tea towels which was great. House looked like pictures.
