Dingle is a compact town on the southern side of the eponymous peninsular. It has a plethora of bars, restaurants, shops and cafes. At the waterfront are a number of businesses offering boat trips and there is an aquarium. Dingle is at the start of the Slea Head Drive, a tour around the peninsular visiting many interesting sites and exploring the wonderful scenery in this part of the world. However, once these are done there's not much to occupy you beyond more food and drink, or listening to music in those places offering you food and drink! Having said that, it is very good food indeed, with wonderful seafood almost everywhere. The local beer is also very good and makes a change from the omnipresent Guinness.
I'd recommend three to four nights max.

This was my first time in Dingle and I absolutely loved it!
I stayed there for three days exploring the area and I will certainly come back when I have the chance. Dingle town is so lively and the Slea Head loop drive is one of the most magical places I've seen. I stopped at every viewing point, archaeological site, and other points of interest.
Truly, truly magical - specially when it's sunny!

What a gorgeous place. We loved it. Great gate away for family. So many things to see, lots restaurants, shops, an Aquarium etc. It is an artistic town in our point of view. So much to see like Dingle Peninsula, there is a beach as well. It's a friendly lovely town. One night was not enough.

At least two breathtaking coastal drives start in Dingle and we really enjoyed doing them both. It was also easy to access a range of beautiful and deserted beaches (this was in March though) and to visit nearby towns and villages.

Locals are friendly and welcoming
Lots of lovely places to eat and drink
Not much entertainment on as it’s still early in the year
Plans to go back in the Summer
We arrived way later than expected due to unforeseen delays. The host called me to make sure we were okay. The night we arrived it was cold, windy and raining. We were exhausted and hungry. He made sure our room was ready, cueck in was a breeze and directed us to the nearest open restaurant. The next day we had breakfast and it was one of the best hotel breakfast we had! 10/10 recommend and will definitely be back! Super close to Dingle Aquarium and a short walk to the city center. Good wifi and parking available!
We absolutely loved our stay at the Dingle Garden Townhouse! It was the perfect location on Goat Street, a walk to everything we wanted to do in town. The facilities were perfect. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the breakfast was one of the best we have had in Ireland. French press coffee, homemade scones and muffins, fresh fruit, and delicious made to order breakfast. And the staff was warm, friendly, and helpful. We could not have asked for a more wonderful experience.
Perfect location for seeing Dingle. Collette at the desk was an absolute gem. She gave lots of advice for places to eat and for driving the peninsula. I was a solo female traveler who found this to be the perfect location. I accidentally left my IPad after check out and they called me to let me know so I could return to pick it up. Would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Dingle.
Great location to stay in Dingle. We had two families, 10 people total with four adults and six kids. This property was perfect for our needs. Big rooms and common areas and nice kitched and living rooms. The house is new and in really good shape. Location cant be beat for an easy walk into town less than half a mile. Would highly recommend and would stay again if we returned to Dingle
The location was great. Near the water, shopping and good resturants. We were there for a birthday party. The bar was 5 minutes from the hotel. We never used the car till it was time to leave Dingle. The hotel has a bar and they serve breakfast in the dining room. They have a small laundry so I did my laundry and sat in the bar with a book and a beer till my laundry was done
Perfect Location for Dingle town & going round the peninsula. The staff were very helpful & friendly. We have stayed in many places and this was definitely one of the best. The breakfast was suberb. The tea & coffee facilities were plentiful. We followed the owners recommendations about where to go & had a relaxing and amazing stay. Thank you to all the team at Capall Dubh.
Beautiful old style B&B. Very friendly staff/owners. Delicious breakfast-the fresh hot scones especially!! Great location, slightly out of town center but very close at the same time. Fabulous views of Dingle Bay. And of course Seamus & Ogie, the two Irish Wolfhounds were the highlight for me! Wish I had time to experience the falconry next door but maybe next time!
Aidan and Marian are exceptional hosts and went out of their way to make our stay in Dingle as enjoyable as possible. The breakfast was excellent, lovely variety and quality ingredients. The location was perfect for touring and near enough to the town centre to walk into as we did one evening. We look forward to staying here again in the future
The view of the cows and Dingle bay from bedroom window. It was an en suite, so met our needs very nicely. Owners very accommodating and personable. Easy ride into Dingle. A beautiful little beach town. Music at the Dingle pub. Bakeries and food was delicious. Lots of wonderful little shops. So much to see on driver around Single peninsula!
Probably one of the best places to stay to say in Dingle, location is just outside the town and away from the mania that happens in Dingle itself during holiday time.
Everthing we experienced was excellent from the hosts, our room and the breakfast which was in the conservatory with a view over Dingle and the Bay.
We loved our stay here! My mom, sister and I traveled around Ireland. I found the Dingle Townhouse on a whim and couldn’t be more thrilled that I did. Loved the location, the rooms, the kind staff, and everything else. Highly recommend staying here (I also never leave reviews but felt compelled to do so).
Wonderful place to stay in Dingle. Very nice room with a lovely view of the water, just a minute's walk away from the center of town. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was large and bright, bed was quite comfortable. Easy parking in the hotel lot. We really enjoyed our stay.
I really liked the location of the hotel,it was in the heart of the beautiful town of Dingle.I loved the sea view from our bedroom window. The staff were very friendly in the hotel and very helpful. The food was very good too. There was a lovely ambiance in the bar / restaurant.
Our room was absolutely stunning and spotlessly clean. The swimming pool area was fab. Amazing view of dingle from our room. Very close to town. The decor was very modern. Loved the two person bath! We would love to stay again and plan to in the future.
It's located in a farm but the room was super clean and tidy. Ample space and only 5min drive from the town. You need a car to stay here. Quiet and comfortable beds. Super good value when compared to the other properties within Dingle town area.
The hotel was older, but kept up beautifully. The room was impeccable. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Paudie's Bar next door (part of the hotel) was also fantastic. We would stay there again if we return to Dingle.
COMFY beds, fantastic staff and beautiful "mini Irish breaky" ❤️ location over looking Marina. Shower and ambience perfect if you want to experience the real Ireland. drive the Dingle Peninsular "gob smackingly" beautiful..
Well organised stay with friendly hosts.
Breakfast was really good - cooked to order.
Beds were comfortably "hard".
Looking over the Dingle harbour bay - out of the town, but still close enough.
Nellie Fred’s was a great place to stay. Great location to town centre and over a lovely pub. I will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Dingle!
