The property was absolutely beautiful, and it is in an amazing location. Gemma thought of everything and more. All essentials were provide - from dishes to tea - and she was very responsive leading up to our vacation. It was a treat to wake up and go upstairs to the family room and see the beautiful ocean and countryside.
The beach access is right across the street, and each morning, we walked around the village and on the beach. There are incredible historic sites in the area, and Gemma suggested several sites within just a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage in the information book.
The pub within just a few yards of the cottage was an added bonus and the locals were very friendly and welcoming. We hope to return again soon.

Located above a very fun pub that serves delicious food and has live entertainment. The staff were all incredibly friendly and the locals were great, too! There was a Gaelic Football game on the TV when we arrived (Derry vs Donegal), so we got to experience the excitement of a Donegal win with the crowd - some of whom were helpful in explaining the game to us. The accommodations blew us away! The rooms have all recently been remodeled and are modern and beautiful! We stayed in a large guest room with 4 beds, a small living area and kitchenette and private bath. We were so impressed with this place and would highly recommend! We visited a couple of other pubs that evening in the town - which were also fun - and enjoyed a breathtaking sunset on the bay behind the Inn where there is a small park, walking path and sports field.

We were there from our home in Scotland to view a property on the coast. Even though the trip was very focused, we saw beautiful scenery and had a great dinner. Going home via ferry, we drove up the coastal road before cutting across to Larne, breath taking views!

Love Dungloe, We dined at the Waterfront Hotel, just five minutes drive from the cottage. The food was excellent, the only thing we noticed was that the hotel was very understaffed, but 100% of all the staff on duty worked way beyond what should be required of them under normal circumstances. Dungloe is a very easy town to navigate and is very well signposted from the approaching directions and the Town is very well sigh posted to enable uninterrupted navigation, The shore walk and the River walk are excellent. Dungloe is a nice small Town on the West Coast with access to the Wild Atlantic Coastal route. It has good dining facilities with local Bars providing food and accommodation. Access to many Beaches in nearby traveling distance .

Liked that the house had both a shower unit and separate bath, overall the house was well spread out & sat on a nice plot of land with good outdoor space. Enjoyed the stove fire although the bags of turf left for us was mostly smaller sods & damp so did't burn great, lucky enough there was plenty of turf down the back of the site that I started using, nice n dry and a good size so problem solved.

Breakfast was great. The only problem was my stay was to short but I will definitely be going back to this Bnb and Hostel. I will be definitely recommending this BNB to everyone I know.
