Loughrea is nice small town with beautiful lake which is perfect for swimmers even in the winter time. Lots of scenic spots for photo shoot. Walking distance to the main points and good coffee in Java's 17.

Great tranquil place, lovely surroundings and nature. The town itself has many supermarkets, fuel stations and restaurants available. The lake has free public parking off the main road, great walking and scenic views.

The lake in Loughrea is a must to see as it is full of swans and ducks. There is a safe play area at the lake for the children to play whilst the adults can enjoy the beautiful scenery. There are plenty of places in the town to have a coffee and chill out.LorettoIreland - 8.0Scored 8.0

Nice area. Nice views when you walk around the lake. A few places to enjoy lunch and dinner but some places needed to be pre-booked in advance , due to covid 19 restrictions. Has a few nice clothes shops with some nice pieces.

I liked the way the staff are dealing with the difficult covid rules very well and using common sense to get through it.We eat in the hotel morning and evening and the food and service was excellent and could recommend this hotel highly for anyone.AAnonymousIreland

It was very cold in the room, especially in the morning. Looks like heating for guestrooms was turned on in the evening only. I would question cleanness of the room. Again it's down to expectation but for example getting a white towel with yellow spots is disgusting for me. It wasn't cheap.Damian ZapIreland

The staff and in particular Clement were wonderful and so helpful. The room was lovely, spacious and had all we needed. The bars, restaurants and lobby areas were so good. Great parking on site also. We were there to enjoy the beautiful Christmas decorations. We look forward to a return visit.

The spa was amazing and well worth the extra 20 euro. The views over Loughrea from my window were incredible, requested a room with a bath and they definitely delivered. Parking was convenient and on-site restaurant with wonderful, tasty options was appreciated. Staff in hotel and restaurant were courteous and helpful. The location is fantastic and Dolores is extremely helpful and knowledgeable with great tips for sight seeing in the local area. I cannot recommend this property enough and would definitely stay there again.
