We learned upon arrival that we'd been upgraded to a larger room with larger beds which was a nice surprise! Despite our check-in being after hours when staff was no longer on-site, Christena was very nice and communicative via text message and gave clear instructions for us to access our room easily. The room was cozy and a perfect stop over for the night. There was water and tea with biscuits provided as well. I think the room was great for the value!

Beautiful vibrant town with welcoming people everywhere.
Beautiful vibrant town with welcoming people everywhere. The area by the river is particularly beautiful. There are plenty of things to do and see and the market ( if you get the chance to see it) is lovely. The tiny Costello chapel is moving and a tiny gem. Really good range of places to eat and some very excellent ones amongst them. The whole town has a bustling vibrant feel and is a complete delight. It is well located to allow you to visit a range fo places of interest further afield.

The hen house is beautiful. Each room has its own wee touch its so cute.
There are 3 bathrooms.
There is a bbq and brilliant outdoor seating area.
Its cute and perfect for any stay
We had kids and they loved it. We were a short distance to a love pub and theor food was gorgeous and then another walk to a wee town with a garage and a few other pubs. Quick drive takes you into carrick on shannon for bigger stores etc. Thank yoi for having us xx
We didn’t stay at the property. The little gem by the boardwalk was disgusting, dated, and did not have anything to recommend it. It was mis sold and I therefore request a complete refund. I understood that the bathroom was an en suite and that we would have some privacy and not sharing the apartment with the proprietor. We had to check into an hotel which cost us €500.00 for the three nights.
We await your response!!
Brilliant house, especially for children and a bonus that it allows pets. The children loved the trampoline and climbing frame.
Very private with plenty of space for the children and dogs to run about, yet only a 5 minute drive to Tesco and a shopping outlet, and a 10 minute drive to Carrick on Shannon town centre.
House quite modern, with a cosy living room. Nice view of the lake.
Will definitely return
A friend and I stayed here while we were on a hen weekend in carrick on Shannon. We wanted a bit of peace and quiet away from the town and that is what we got! The surroundings are so beautiful and peaceful. The cottage was perfect, all the amenities we needed and even a gorgeous terrace area to enjoy a cup of tea before hitting the town. Only wish we got to stay longer!
House was both quirky and lovely. Fiona the host was extremely helpful and had stoves lighting on our arrival. It was very central and we enjoyed evening meals only a minutes walk from the house. I would definitely recommend a trip to Carrick on Shannon and this house is in the perfect location presented beautifully.
This is by far the best place I have stayed in near Carrick on Shannon. Everything was spotless and the food was good and fresh. Kate took us in like one of her own and anything we needed she helped with. I can not fault Hartley House and would recommend it to everyone. Looking forward to my next stay down there.
Apartment was spacious and bed was very comfortable, rooms were nice and warm too. Would definitely recommend...we were at a wedding in the landmark hotel which is right across the road so excellent location for us. Staff were also very nice and helpful.
Breakfast was excellent and the room was great!! It definitely exceeded my expectations. The staff was super nice especially the front desk. The restaurant and the lunch/dinner menu was very convenient and food selection and taste was excellent as well.
Nice property but cost was very high given the quality. The location is fab, we sat watching boats go by in the sun outside which was lovely. The food was very nice. we had breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel and staff were fab.
Excellent central location in Carrick with shops, cafes and restaurants on your doorstep. The room was very large and clean. It was at the rear of the hotel and very quiet. The communal areas have lots of character.
Comfortable and very accommodating to our family needs. Also rooms were lovely great tv and lovely tea and biscuits. And the old Irish papers on the walls brilliant. A real home feeling hotel. Lovely to see.
Fantastic location! Great value for money. 1st time to Carrick on Shannon and the host told us where would be best for drinks and food. He wasn't wrong. It was a great weekend!
