The lobby exceeded our expectations, the room was small but nice, the staircase was no problem to carry up our fairly large suitcase.
On the famous Ring of Kerry road, Klondyke House features stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and Kerry Mountains, home-cooked breakfasts and free Wi-Fi.

A lovely B&B not far from the beach, clean and comfortable with parking. I was cooked an early breakfast to allow my early departure which was kind and convenient of them.

We liked everything about the property—location, facilities, parking, comfort, etc. But the best part of our stay was meeting Marie! She is very kind, friendly and warm. She even made sure we had snacks and breakfast items available in the room. We highly recommend staying at Skellig View Bluebell Rose & Kerry Cliffs and hope to return again ourselves. Delightful stay!

So much to see of historic nature and the beauty of the landscape breathtaking, from the Skelligs to cliff walks to the beauty of the blue flag beaches in the area. Food lovers paradise. Favourite restaurant is Driftwood, just 10 minute drive from Ballinskelligs. Cois Trá Café with a stroll down to the beach a must.

The staff and guests were very open an hospitable in the Hostel before, during and after the trip. We were disappointed not to get to the islands because of the weather but there was so much else to se and do in the area that we had plenty of alternatives. There was terrific scenery to see no matter what road we took for a walk in the area and we left knowing we needed to stay a lot longer ! The beach café close by was a novel experience for us.

A beautifully quiet village with a lovely safe beach for swimming, and other watersports, lots of great walks, and has a beautiful backdrop of mountains. It has one small shop only and one pub. There is an arts centre with coffee shop but not open consistently. It's a few miles to Cahirciveen or Waterville to find restaurants and theres a Supervalue supermarket in Cahirciveen. The skies at night are magnificent due to lack of light pollution

There is a lot to see, so get on your bike and explore the entire area. When you finished biking go for a hot Chocolate at the chocolate factory. Otherwise just chill and have a good rest. There is a good bit of history in the area, you can also connect with something positive and beautiful on the spiritual side!

Good beach walk, ruined abbey to visit (free), Sunday morning craft and food market. Pub had gone downhill since last visit and was not yet doing food. Nor were the take away places opposite open in mid-June. There is one well equipped shop, but it closed around 6pm and one cafe that I did not get a chance to visit. A place for people who like the simple life!
Setting is beautiful and peaceful. The views from the sunroom are spectacular of the Irish countryside and you can see St. Finian's Bay and Skellig Michael. Great skellig ring location. We got to help herd sheep and watch shearing! Host Michael was very quick to respond to our requests and went above and beyond to resolve minor problems. The house is well equipped and accommodated 5 adults well. The wood burning stove worked well and was pleasant to use when the Summer Irish weather turned cooler.
Beautiful contemporary B&B with gorgeous woodwork and tile throughout. The owners, Mary and Christie were warm and friendly. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Short walk to the beautiful beach and historic ruins. We enjoyed a relaxing two evenings here as we toured the Ring of Kerry. Don't miss a tour of Skellig Michael (we left from nearby Portmagee marina).
Highly recommend Seaside B&B and hope to return one day. Thank you Mary & Christie!
Very nice apartment on the corner with big green area on the side. Lovely living room with big fireplace and open kitchen plus dining area. Two very comfortable bedrooms. Friendly and helpful host. Beautiful beach is only 3 min drive from the apartment. Is good to do some shopping before your stay because nearest shop is long distance from the place (10 min drive).
Stayed in early May. Plenty of space for a big family or group of friends traveling together (multiple bathrooms appreciated), while still having a warm and cozy ambiance. Good kitchen and dining area to be able to enjoy meals at home. Quiet but practical location for exploring Skellig ring and the ring of Kerry.
The kitchen had room for three people to cook simultaneously, and amenities to accommodate (pans, pots, flatware, dinnerware). The dining area was on the small side, but large enough to have four or five families (in normal times). Pleasant decor, decent quality as well. Good hostel setup.
Kitchen have everything what you need to prepare your food, dinning room is nice ,clean. Bathroom very clean, bedroom big enaufe, materaces bit old. Garden nice for kids running around. First time in hostel with kids but we comming home with good memories. Thank you.
The Old Schoolhouse is a wonderful place. Dominick is so welcoming and knowledgeable about the locality. He allowed guests bring take away food back to eat it for their dinner. The vibe is very cool, almost like a hostel. I will definitely like to stay here again.
Comfortable and close to Ring of Kerry. Our favorite part was talking to Dominic. He told us some great stories and played us a song he wrote. His Wife Lillian was a great Chef and her pancakes were lovely. We hope to be back someday. Rock-n-roll <3 Reneé & Bryan
House and Location are amazing close to the beach and playground and the kids loved Skellig Chocolate Factory and driftwood restaurant all within walking distance and just a short drive about 6km to Kerry Cliffs which are stunning .
Would definitely recommend.
Lillian and Dominic made our stay special. They are warm and charming! We connected with them immediately. They have chickens and offer fresh eggs for breakfast. And, they recommended sites in the area - the local beach, the Skelligs Ring and Valentia island.
I always stay at Skellig Lodge and Hostel when I come to Kerry. It has a good location for hiking, relaxing, going on the Ring, Skellig Islands and whatever you like. And in a short distance from Skellig Chocolate 🥰
The house was very spacious especially the living room combined kitchen. The views from the house were absolutely gorgeous. Lots of room for a big family and we loved the area. The beach is very close by.
Dog friendly and in a great location; v scenic. Near to Ballinskellig; Portmagee and Caherisveen. Basic facilities but has a small fridge, hob for frying and Netflix. Tim Baked lovely bread for breakfast.
Lovely owners and fresh breakfast in the mornings, great location for Skellig tours nearby. It was also nice to meet more travelers in the common rooms for a beverage in the evening.
Great location, just a few minutes walk from the beach. Mary was a wonderful host, helped us in organizing taxis for dinner. Very clean comfortable rooms.
