Kenmare is a charming, small Irish town. We loved walking through the streets with many shops, pubs and restaurants. Both Holy Cross and St. Patrick's churches are worth a visit.
Kenmare is a perfect base for driving the Ring of Kerry and visiting Killarney National Park.
We had a fabulous dinner at The Coachman's pub, sitting outside on a pleasant October evening but there are many other dining options too.

Kenmare was a wonderful stop on our journey.
Kenmare was a wonderful stop on our journey. The food and drinks were great but the people even better. Could have stayed a lifetime.
We stopped at Crowley's, saw O'Donnabhain's, booked and checked in. Dinner there and back to Crowleys before some live music at O'Donnabhain's and off to bed. The full Irish breakfast was amazing as well as the selection of yogurts, fresh fruits, cereals, juices. Could have stayed forever.
This apartment is a gem in Kenmare with phenomenal views of the Kenmare Bay. The place is cosy, quiet and only a 10 minute drive to Kenmare town. The apartment was handed tidy and stocked up with everything that we needed to live there for a week. Geraldine has been a super host , extremely easy to communicate with and she's always around if you need anything. We enjoyed every bit of our stay here and I highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a getaway in Kenmare.
Wonderful owner and beautiful home. We were able to walk to town and had an incredible time in the pubs/restaurant, listening to local musicians on her recommendations. Breakfast was delicious! The rooms were comfortable, and she was friendly, helpful, and an absolute delight! We would definitely stay here again. We were only there for a night, and we wish we would have stayed a 2nd! We absolutely recommend both Kenmare and this cozy friendly accommodation!
The property is excellent and the high standard of the interior was a lovely surprise, it’s well laid out with really comfortable beds and lots of storage.
The staff were very helpful and the wine, chocolates and milk and tea were a really nice touch. I’d highly recommend staying here. Sheen Falls hotel is across the road and offers fabulous dining. Kenmare is a short walk away and the surrounding countryside is beautiful.
Margaret is an exceptional host, who really made us feel welcome. She gave us excellent advice on interesting places to visit and dine. The highlight of our stay was a truly magnificent breakfast, with bowls of freshly made porridge and delicious fresh fruit. Her homemade brown bread and cake were truly delicious. This breakfast matches anything you would get in a 4 or 5 star hotel! Top class Margaret!
Patricia is a wonderful host! She made is feel at home from the minute we arrived, allowed us an early check-in, and gave us loads of good suggestions about what to see and where to eat in town. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was very good—only a 1 km walk to the center of town. The breakfast was delicious. A great place to stay in Kenmare at a very reasonable price.
The location was just outside of the the main strip of Kenmare so it was nice and quiet and just a 10 minute walk to town. The host is excellent she was so warm and inviting and she gave me excellent suggestions especially when my travel plans changed because of weather. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options to choose from.
The B and B was very tastefully furnished with a large bedroom in a perfect location. We loved the small town of Kenmare. Breakfast choice was amazing, cooked to order and far exceeds bigger hotels. Lucy and her staff work very hard and we felt very comfortable and would not consider staying anywhere else should we re-visit Kenmare.
From first entry, met with very pleasant staff, beautiful decor and ambience, perfectly situated in Kenmare's lovely town. We didnt get the opportunity to eat here as we had pre arranged to meet with friends in town, alas - but menus looked super and catered for all. I would indeed revisit during the coming summer.
A fabulous welcoming establishment located in the heart of Kenmare. Great food for dinner then just walk upstairs to your room. Street parking was available. Breakfast was yummy with lots of options. Staff very friendly. Very walkable town.
Located 2 km away from Kenmare village center, this b&b is charming and quiet. The room was spacious to fit our whole family, and the en-suite functioned properly.
The breakfast was great, with fresh food and great selection.
The hotel is right in the middle of the town centre with a great street vibe, the staff were great, the evening entertainment was fantastic and the breakfast was very good, we would highly recommend a visit.
A very clean apartment, With comfortable beds & hot showers. The apartment had absolutely everything we needed during our stay. The apartment was in walking distance to Kenmare town. A very enjoyable stay.
The staff were wonderful. Room was clean, spacious, and hotel accommodated us with our 3 twin bed request. We visited during off season so there weren’t many people there but it was a wonderful choice!
A lovely boutique hotel in a great location - a short walk to the town centre.
Breakfast was good - we had an evening meal in the restaurant which was excellent though perhaps a little pricy.
Beautiful cabin with a amazing views of the Kerry countryside. Felt very remote yet was only a short 5 minute drive into Kenmare town, brilliant location.
