Very central, nice pool, friendly staff, spacious room
Very nice town, and very clean.
There was a lot going on the weekend we were there, but it was still very easy to get around and find parking adjacent to the town centre.
Our kids loved the Aquadome and would have stayed there for the entire visit!.
Tralee was also a great starting point for daytime to Dingle, Killarney, etc.

Tralee is a small town, but that is a large part of its charm. We were fortunate enough to stay in Tralee while they had a street festival in the town square, which made our stay all the more enjoyable.

I can't give many tips after only a one night stay, but I'd definitely recommend a pint at The Blasket pub followed by dinner at Cassidy's. A walk through the rose garden is also recommended.

I enjoyed the friendliness of the people, the Museum of Kerry, the Central Park and of course the live music and Guinness in some of the old bars. Public transport didn’t seem that good though and I decided to take a taxi to the airport which was about 30 Euros with a tip which I thought reasonable for the distance.

We stayed in Tralee for football, we only planned one night and would have loved to have stayed for two nights as its a long drive for only one night. The accommodation was perfect, the host was a genuine lovely lovely lady. The accommodation was close to all amenities which was perfect for us. It was excellent value for money as breakfast was included. Free wifi. There isn't much in Tralee to do to be honest but it suited us for what we went for. The shops are good if you're interested in shopping and there are some fabulous restaurants to choose from and also some lovely quaint coffee shops along the shop street which we tried out. All in all my experience was excellent and as I have stayed in Tralee before it met all the usual expectations of our trip and i most definitely will go back (for football) but for sightseeing I think Killarney is the place to go or Dingle. But . . for us Tralee was 100%,
Barrow Lodge was a highlight of our trip! Clodagh was delightful and bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were gorgeous, the breakfast delicious, and the view was spectacular. We were playing Tralee Golf Course and we walked there when we arrived. Clodagh called ahead and had them reserve the best table in the house. She also offered to host breakfast before their normal hours for us given our early tee time. The only problem was we only stayed there one night! Wish it had been longer.
We had a wonderful family stay. Bridget and her husband were fantastic hosts; so friendly, helpful and obliging. The rooms were clean & spacious and we had super sleeps in very comfortable beds. Lovely power shower in the mornings. A great variety for breakfast each morning and delicious hot food to order from their impressive menu. Bridget went above and beyond to cater for the needs of our children. Most definitely hotel standard breakfast! We would without doubt recommend Glenfort House for your stay in Tralee :-)
Very welcoming and excellent breakfast- a variety of fruit selection and options of breakfast- full Irish, salmon and scrambled eggs or Home made pancakes. Both Tim and Rose are kind and excellent hosts. They made tea for us at any time we wanted. We felt very welcomed. Thanks to the hosts. Tim gave us some useful tips about the local area. The house is just next to Tralee city centre and was a very convenient location to get to Dingle peninsula which is a must visit in Kerry.
1. Bedroom was comortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. Bathroom likewise.
2. Breakfast was well organised and served quickly which was great as I was on a time schedule for three of the four mornings.
3. I dined each evening in the bar. Was well looked after each evening by the staff with the Food Managaer (Anna) on top of her game.
4. When I stay in Traleee again I will be giving Manor West Hotel my first option.
Ballyseede Castle is fascinating ! Not only is it a beautiful “ old worldly “ hotel but it’s very much like staying at “ your favorite relative’s home “ where you’re treated like family, the dogs roam freely and are so loving and you immediately feel at ease. I travel solo and thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ballyseede. It was truly one of the highlights of my trip in Ireland.
The location of the hotel is excellent, as it's bang in the centre of Tralee so everything is accessible from the hotel. The food during our stay was excellent - we really enjoyed the breakfast and will also had lunch in the hotel one of the days we stayed and that was very good also. We also found the service in the bar very good.
if you want to stay in a castle in Ireland, I recommend Ballyseede Castle. it's a lovely property and you do feel like royalty on the grounds, in the restaurant and in the rooms. Very lovely staff. afternoon tea is a bonus as are the nearby woods. breakfast is over the top. The price is very approachable compared to other castles.
Cead milé fáilte from the Efficient friendly staffy.
Bright spacious hotel with delicious Bar food. The Scampi is tops.
Convenient location for touring the Dingle peninsula and #wildatlanticwaykerry.
Plenty of parking and "what a view over the Vale of Tralee' from bedrooms!
I will return. Keep up the good work everyone.
This was a lovely B&B just a short walk from nature trails through the woods. The room was so clean and comfortable (my best night’s sleep so far on our Ireland trip!) and there was coffee, tea and biscuits in the room to enjoy. Josephine served a delicious breakfast and gave us wonderful suggestions for our trip.
We chose the Tralee Holiday Lodge when all the hotels were booked. But we saved €100 per night by staying here, which was nice. Had breakfast in the Grand Hotel.
Everywhere was spotlessly clean.
Facilities were adequate.
Very good location.
