This nice sitting room in the front but nobody is ever there .. they take hotel prices but it should be much less per night

Unfortunately the hot food was only lukewarm. Cold option was excellent though.

The location was excellent for ease of access to airport. Used free shuttle twice. Great bonus. Room and bed very comfortable but shower not operating properly and remained scorching hot regardless of setting. Couldn't get that address at 5:30 AM when hurrying to get ready for airport departure. Ate the restaurant. Great staff, food ok. I could stay again for the purpose.

Everything was very decent since we wanted a hotel equidistant from the airport and city, and had a car rental for transportation which made it easy to get to and from. The room and hotel itself were minimal yet quite comfortable. Our favorite was the fitness center, pool, sauna, etc. This was an amazing perk and helped us shake off our jetlag. Staff was very helpful and kind, and breakfast was good - we love an all you can eat meal!
Overlooking the River Liffey, The Arlington is in the heart of Dublin and home to Dublin’s longest-running traditional Irish dinner and dancing show, which is open everyday.

I liked that the village was very walkable and I could even walk to and from Dublin City Centre from there ( a long walk if you are not a frequent walker). Rathgar itself had a lovely bookstore, an awesome antiques shop, conveniences and welcoming pubs. I recommend Brady's (a 10 minute walk from my guesthouse), and The 108, which was a 5 minute walk for me. Both these pubs had very good food and atmosphere.

Will we stay again?
Will we stay again? Probably but maybe only for 1-2 nights maximum, and not 5.
Lets face it , dublin is expensive. You cant ask for 5star, yet it was disasspointing to not have the room cleaned half the time and that you had to ask for room cleaning ( something you only know once you are in the room ).
There is no staff, it is unmanned; there is a sink in the room not in the toilet; the room is small . This we knew beforehand , so zero complaints there.
The TV, only a few local channels worked, but we werent there to watch tv anyway.
The ammenities were good and fair and the bed was good. Staff over the phone was helpful.

Away from hustle & bustle of Dublin City centre.
Away from hustle & bustle of Dublin City centre. Good local cafes, bars, restaurants & shops + short walk or bus to Terenure or Rathmines for more choice.
City centre is only quick bus journey, (use a leep card to save money) away for tourist destinations & night life.

Totally unorganized. They sent me my codes after I left. I also received an email that I was never there. The room was not clean and the location is far from downtown. I would not recommend this place

Excellent value for money, clean and comfortable and well...
Excellent value for money, clean and comfortable and well located. A few minor issues, the numbers on the press pad on the front door were difficult to see, there was stale water in the kettle and the coffee machine and there was not enough towels. Parking was on a first come basis butI was too late to get it. All in all, this was a very pleasant experience and I would have no hesitation reccomding no 9 as a good place to stay
The location is within easy walking distance of busses to Dublin City Center. A supermarket, cafe, deli and pharmacy are also nearby. The location is quiet. It is a residential street but near to the village and a bus ride to downtown. The breakfast is not a full meal, yet, access to a small kitchenette that is actually well stocked with basics was all that was needed for a quick bite in the morning. The Fat Cat Cafe, a short walk away, is a great place for breakfast.
We had a huge room with a very comfy bed in this cosy house with a kitchen for guests. I didn't realize when I booked that a self-service continental breakfast is included so that was a pleasant surprise. The host was flexible with check-in and check-out times despite my last minute booking. The transport links into town are excellent but I chose to walk as this is a nice part of the city to stroll around.
The hotels location is great if you can't fund something in the city centre. The neighbourhood is clean and safe. The room was basic but it was clean and had everything that you needed. It was quite spacious in comparison to other properties in Dublin. I like the digital access and that I didn't have to worry about keys or cards. The staff, although completely remote, were good to respond.
Location--close to Dublin City Center. Very easy to take a bus to Dublin. Freedom to come and go--access codes allow you to get in and out of the hotel and your room. You don't need to worry about a key. Neighborhood--cute neighborhood with pubs and grocery stores within walking distance. Several nights we went to the grocery store for wine and food to eat in the communal lounge.
Marie is a friendly host. The house is at a very good location with restaurants and pubs close by. Room was comfortable with all you need, bath newly renovated. Coffee and tea in the room, kitchen facilities in the house for common usage
Very clean, warm, very friendly and helpful staff, close to bus station, bars and grocery stores. Very good price compared to similar properties in Dublin.
