The room was very comfortable and had excellent facilities. I had a beautiful view of Benbulben from the window. Linda was an excellent host and I would highly recommend Lissadell Lodge. The location was fantastic for visiting the many local beauty spots.

Allocated a room very far from the main building in a subtle storey extension that was freezing cold. Made worse by a big gap in the external brick wall where there was a set back door that didn't open. Too mean to brick it up when it was changed from whatever it used to be to a bedroom. The over bath shower was not fit for purpose, emitting water only in the centre of the head which was so close to the bath tap you couldn't stand under it. We had stsyed in the Radisdon the previous night and were due to move on to Galway but my husband took ill abd couldn't travel. The Radisson is far superior - for the same price - but was fully booked up for a big wedding so we had to find somewhere else anx there is not a lot of choice in Sligo. We had to eat in the hotel my husband was too ill to go out and he had some soup which was ok but my fish and chips was very poor. Stuck to what appeared to be actual newspaper that it was served on, it was disgusting and inedible. It was poor value for money. I would not recommend it or ever stay again.
Overlooking Mount Knocknarea, the Strandhill Lodge and Suites are 10 minutes’ walk from sandy beaches and just 1-mile from Sligo Airport. Rooms have i-Pod docks and sea or countryside views.
With an 18-metre swimming pool and a sumptuous spa, this Radisson BLU hotel is less than 10 minutes’ drive from Sligo. Free Wi-Fi is available, and Rosses Point Beach is a 5-minute drive away.
With stunning design and spacious rooms, The Glasshouse is set on The Garravogue River in Sligo’s centre. It boasts an AA Rosette restaurant and a gym.

Linda was very welcoming and obviously experienced at her job. Room was great and as described. One small issue was a regular twanging noise from the plumbing. Not loud enough to stop you sleeping but might be annoying to some. Overall the one night stay was excellent and good value. Nice to meet shep the dog too. Thanks Linda.

I have family who lived nearby and I regularly visited Carney when I was younger. It was amazing to see how much had and had not changed since I was last there. All the memories came flooding back and they were all good.
The house was perfectly located only 15mins away from Sligo town and our wedding destination. It has the most gorgeous view of Benbulben and yet felt tucked away.
Spotless, comfortable and spacious. Hotel comforts in a homely way.
Easy to find with Linda being such a welcoming and helpful host.
Couldn’t ask for more.
Absolutely immaculate! Me and my partner loved staying here I think it’s actually nicer than staying in a hotel! Gorgeous breakfast the next morning also! Linda is such a lovely woman, so so friendly!
